Don't know if the movie will be good but I'm hyped. Love Tom hardy. One of my favorite actors. And love venom. One of my favorite heros(?).

The effects are so interesting, this appears to be a new technique much like the transition from stop motion to cgi.

Its not how I wanted Venom but it looks ok enough to be moviepass worthy and it's not like I'd get anything resembling classic Venom anywhere else anyway. They nailed the voice though ill give them that.

Well... that definitely is Venom! I am pretty superhero movie'd out but if they can make a cool "Horror Anti-Hero" film then it could be interesting. Reminds me of that old "The Darkness" game a little (which is a good thing). At the very least it's nice to see anything that's not looked into the oversaturated marvel universe at this point...

The trailer feels like one of those fan made trailers that have a nice quality to them, but in the back of your mind you know that it's not the movie that's going to be made. And you know the clips might be from other movies the actor has starred in.

They chose the perfect line for Venom (Capcom's Versus games). His face looks a bit too oval, but maybe that's from my initial reaction. I wouldn't mind seeing this film. The build up at the beginning doesn't really have me hooked. Maybe it's because this an origin movie.

I like the character (Venom). Maybe that's the 90's fan in me caring too much about what I'm seeing.

I think he's an interesting enough character to warrant his own movie and not just be a villain in a Spidey movie but to not include Spiderman at all is kind of suspect.

I like the Venom design. Looks better than I expected. I really wish this was a Spider-Man movie.

well the rumor is carnage is going to be it. But all I care is if they can pull it off as and they can do whatever they want. Maybe even have him become Agent Venom. I want more rated r comic book movies and I don't trust disney.

Just watched the trailer. Do want. Also Venom looks like how he should which is nice. Unlike in spiderman 3 where he was just spiderman with venomface. Was reading the latest venom and I am not really that interested in this approach to eddie brock making him more anti hero than actual villain. I like how in the comics, venom actually liked being a good. The evil nature of his hosts and his desire to be with a host just enabled him. A far more interesting dynamic than having it the other way around imo.

Damn, that shot of Venom looks awesome.
But I still kinda wish this was an Agent Venom movie instead, especially since Spidey is nowhere to be found.

The tendrils shown and the symbiote's more physical abilities make me think this venom will be more like ultimate spiderman's venom. I like the design though. Kinda looks like an evolved version of sam raimi's venom design.

even though Flash Thompson was Agent Venom, they still could easily make Eddie Brock Agent Venom. Like in a post-credit scene where Eddie Brock is either jailed in some sort of government facility or the government comes knocking at his place.

This trailer was a lot better. I probably would have watched the movie anyways but that first trailer really killed any hype I had for it but now I'm in the interested category.
