Mexican presidential candidate Andrés Manuel López Obrador (AMLO) called for mass immigration to the United States during a speech Tuesday declaring it a “human right” for all North Americans.

“And soon, very soon — after the victory of our movement — we will defend all the migrants in the American continent and all the migrants in the world,” Obrador said, adding that immigrants “must leave their towns and find a life in the United States.”

He then declared it as “a human right we will defend,” eluniversal.com reports.

AMAZING! If its a human right why only North Americans?

Because a lot of Mexicans hate Guatemalans and other Central Americans with a surprising intensity?

It's one of the first things you find out if you spend any time around illegal immigrant laborers on farms - Mexicans do not want to work with Central Americans, and the feeling is mutual.

Something that gives it away is that he drives around without security, claiming to not be afraid of the cartels because he means them no harm.

Which is an absolutely laughable concept because, as you mention, the cartels will target anyone who threatens them. If his policy actually threatened cartel power, his unprotected ass would be kidnapped immediately.

I read a book by an American Indian woman traveling throughout Mexico collecting stories about UFOs. She was constantly stopped by military patrols looking for people from the southern countries, but would always let her go once they discovered she was from the US.

I think what needs to be done is tax remittances, money being sent back from the US to Mexico by workers.

Sounds like he wants to Make Mexico Great Again by sending the poor brown Indio and Mestizo people to the US, not the middle and upper class who have no reason to leave, because like him they are castizo or espaniol and are the predominant middle and upper class of Mexico.

But it is always like this no? Like 70%+ in Autstria, 60%+ turks in Netherlands voting for Erdogan. They want a welfare state but at the same time they don't adapt to new country's set of values.

You are not going to see a Mexican guy that looks like this guy pulling tobacco or picking tomatoes or strawberries at the farms around where I grew up.

This more has to do with how the left treats Hispanics and now even Middle Easterners - they are "brown people" when something happening to them fits the narrative (e.g. immigration control is racist) and "white people" when they do something wrong (e.g. George Zimmerman).

I defined that state as "expedient whiteness".

I’ve seen this story a couple times. It’s friggan hysterical. It’s like he watched South Park pre 2016 election and decided to try a slogan that would beat fuck them all to death. And settled at vote for me and self deport yourselves right after.

I really hope this guy wins. I don’t care how corrupt he might be. Anyone who runs a campaign based on vote for me and then self deport deserves to win.

Okay so say this guy wins and hordes upon hordes of people attempt to cross the border. What is the appropriate response? I mean imo there is only two answers, you just let them pass or you use force to stop them.

Scary shit, from what you see about American police they will obviously be firing but what else can they do other than cede territory to them.

Is this guy getting people to do this an act of war/aggression?

Will we see a Mexican uprising similar to the Russians in Ukraine?

If I lived on the border I would be selling up and moving my butt away asap
