Mass Effect Andromeda Actor Says "It Was Done Dirty" By EA And Fans

His complaints do the fan base dirty, agreed.

Players loved ME2, ME3 stumbled, then MEA felt like it purposely jumped into a landfill - and there's no one to "blame" but BioWere.

The retarded millennial writing/quippy dialog was just painful. You can tell the rot had started at BioWare.

Also a reminder that supposedly the reason this game sucked was because the "BioWare A-Team" were all busy working on Anthem. LOL

Enough toxic fans nonsense.

It's an entertainment product. The fans will flock to it and throw money at it if it's good. They will run away from it if it isn't good or has toxic themes the fans don't like.

The issue is the games are toxic. If people like this dude don't get that yet they should learn to do something else. It's pretty simple.

No it wasn't. The game is a fucking mess period.

Even if you ignore all the bugs it shipped with, the story of Andromeda still seemed real bad. It's a shame because it was doing some interesting gameplay stuff.

Anyways, this guy seems like an idiot. Noo, Andromeda (and Highguard lol) couldn't possibly have sold badly because of any decisions the devs made, it's everyone else's fault, including the gamers :messenger_angry:

I just want the next Mass Effect game to be good, man. I know we all love to give BioWare shit, and rightfully so. But in the end, if EA shut them down, then Mass Effect will just be another IP on EA's IP-graveyard of IPs that rot away. Remember that EA do also have Ultima, Sim City, Dungeon Keeper, Command & Conquer, Wing Commander, Burnout, Titanfall, Medal of Honor, Populous, SSX and Syndicate (among others). And they don't do anything with them. Instead, they shit out Star Wars games, an IP that doesn't even belong to them, EA Sports whale catchers and mediocre Battlefield games.

EA is easily the most frustrating publisher in the fucking industry for me.

He is right the game was great despite of the bugs but you know people and media like to trash/ follow trends on everything

"I also worked on Highguard"

LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOL
Coming back to this before I check in for work - but the way this guy ended this was borderline a joke. It has to be. This isn't 2016 anyone and this guys acting like the legitimate psychos from Gamergate haven't fizzled out lol

It didn't release to toxic atmosphere at all though? I remember the hype for this game being generally positive before release. It was the last midnight release I went to for a game. I played it through the night for like 6-8 hours, hated every second, and sold it back for a 15 dollar loss the next morning.

I have never seen a game get such fair and positive pre-release hype just to tank by its own merits so extremely before.

It got meme'd pretty hard with gifs of all the wacky facial animations/character animations. But other than that it got a pretty positive reception.

I guess that makes you a CHUD if you have the audacity to laugh at something like this.

What's up with that "my face is tired" line anyway?

Almost seems like someone was making fun of the animations and it accidentally got into the final release.

BAHAHAHA What a cuck. It failed because it was shit plain and simple. Atrocious dialogue. Atrocious story. Average, brain dead gameplay. Good to see he failed downward with Highguard 🤣

This guy's just a voice actor, so he wasn't actually even really part of the development of either of those games, and wouldn't have been affected by them failing. Another reason to ignore everything he says.

Well, I beg to differ, good sir. I "enjoyed" Veilguard a lot more than Inquisition. I absolutely hated, hated, hated DAI.
Bioware was done dirty by the response to DA Inquisition. An endless sanitized 'consume content' game at peak of open world craze that won GOTYs and told Bioware to go in this horrendous direction.

I loathed it and its the epitome of 'quantity over quality'

Yeah, I also thought it was really boring, and it had the worst horse in any videogame I've ever played. I might still go back and give it another shot sometime though. It seemed like some of the writing was interesting.

Veilguard though just looks terrible from videos I've watched. The graphics/art style look like a Marvel movie, all the characters are annoying, the story's bad, and the gameplay is dumbed down. No desire to ever play it.

Ah, so your whole sour attitude was not because of fiasco of the game, but because it was the fault of the chuds and toxicity.

Bonus clown points for you for putting Highguard on the table. No need to make you look more stupid than what you already are, I'm already convinced.

The aliens were designed poorly, the minute I saw them I knew instantly there's something wrong in the industry cause these designs surely aren't done by professionals. I hope these professionals stay around cause we don't wish to require a college degree about aliens in order to do the job justly.

There was an insider here that was glazing the game before its release, talking about how special it was. Then when it came out and disappointed nearly everybody he basically left the forum due to being made fun of. I tried a half hour of it on EA Play and just turned it off. It wasn't interesting at all.

Damn, retro active chud accusations? They must be fucking desperate for attention.....well, even more desperate for attention. Mass Effect Andromeda, the game slammed by all critics, especially at launch, by the horrible characters, designs, animations, story, glitches etc but somehow it is the "chuds" fault?

Didn't they also hire people to work on the game that didn't know anything about programming or something? I swear I remember some artist was just picked and hired, hence the horrible dead eyed fucked up faces of the characters.

But yes, make a shit game by shit people and blame everyone but yourselves. Must be nice to demand respect while giving absolutely none out. Fucking worthless piece of shit.

So tired of these woke garbage game trying to blame the fans. They take 0 accountability.

"hate on it for clicks" - we've heard this quite a few times now from different disgruntled randoms involved in game development. When has this ever happened to a good game?

The ugly female protagonist thing started with this game. Actually it started with DA:I but that was one game and a pattern hadn't been established, this 2nd game established the pattern for Bioware. Didn't buy this game or any Bioware game since.

It doesn't. All data has shown that hate on it for clicks doesn't work any better than love on it for clicks. People click on hate videos when they also hate the same game, just like they click on love videos when they also love the game. Hating on a popular game or love on a unpopular game are equally non-conducive to generating clicks.
