I don't follow the Bond games but I had fun with GoldenEye as a kid and something about this one looked special to me so I ordered it a few days ago. Glad to see the reviews are great and I'm excited for my copy to arrive. I picked up Nightfire a while back but haven't got around to playing it yet. I hear Nightfire is a pretty good Bond game too.

I was impressed by the scores until I started listening to the content creators. It's like they never played an Uncharted game.

They most likely didn't. They probably were toddlers when Uncharted 1 released.

I'm quite surprised at how good the scores are. It looks quite generic to me personally, but perhaps there's something to it I'm missing?

You're not missing anything. It's just been a damn long time since we've had one of these types of TPS's. That alone causes inflation, especially if its competent.
