$100 3DS TV: Would you be interested?

Nintendo does not have a unified account system. Till they do, such devices would be pointless as you would have to double dip. When nintendo joins the 21st century we can revisit this.

Nintendo sucks, true, but that doesn't mean such a device wouldn't work. You'd only have to "double dip" if you "dipped" in the first place. If you bought physical games, they work just fine. And even if you did buy DD, they'd probably let you do their stone-age data transfer - which I would do immediately for a TV solution.

Technically they could still do 3D output to 3D TVs. The non-stretched screen option with huge black borders would be hilarious, though.

Here's a video of DoA on the 3DS being played on an HDTV.

Doesn't look bad at all.

Seems upscaled 3DS titles don't look nearly as bad as many people are making it out to be.

And why are those people ignoring this vid?

Because they'd have to admit they don't know what they're talking about, I suppose.

edit: the Animal Crossing one is direct feed, much better:

this is animal crossing on 55" LED TV

Why do the upscaled images on TV look better than on 3ds itself? Still does not come close to what a PS360U could deliver.
