Yeah it was a great article and was in this month's CGM. They were stretching it however with the inclusion of several game mods which aren't stand alone freebies. There's so much free game content out there that they could easily do a monthly segment.

The jay is game website Teasel mentioned is awesome and the article is pretty neat too. Latelty I've been focusing on freebies such as this even with games like BF2 or DMC3 in my backlog and already bought. There's something refreshin in their simplicity I just can't resist.

Still... why do I have to come across this right before the exam week? Every time I try to study or finish the important projects I'll probably find myself coming back to those little mines of fun unable to fight their bewitching attraction.

This collection of mods has lots of cool additions. Tons more blocks, more colors, vehicles, working doors and elevators... dynamite..


The performance gets pretty bad once you start getting into the many hundreds of blocks, even on good systems, but that will be fixed when they release a beta of the next version. Then it will be released retail.
