I think it's more of a tech savvy + vidyagames definition these days. A career in tech/vidyagames is a plus, although it's a minus (for me) if you're just eyecandy during gadget segments.
Although, if you're attractive enough you can basically say "OMG I love Star Wars, I'm such a geek," and still get credit from droolies.
I'd put our own H.Protagonist on the list, but that'd be pretty creepy of me.
Edit-Let me add that the "wow pretty women get bonus points because they like geek stuff" is kind of missing the point. Of course a woman is going to be more appealing to me if she likes the same things I like. If I am into sports, and an attractive woman is into sports, that just makes her more attractive to me. Why is that hard for people to accept?
