I have no sympathy for people who commit suicide, Especially for being on a damn list. Your just weak in my eyes. There is ALWAYS a better solution.

I can somewhat agree, that suicide over a damn list is pretty stupid (no offence).

Although saying that you got no sympathy at all for any people commiting suicide and telling them that there is "ALWAYS" a better solution and that they are weak is just non-sense. You either are too young to have the experience or you don't want to think it through.

Someone with incurable cancer for example has no better solution. I mean if I had the choice of "living" a few months in a really horrible manner with great pain (after getting chemo-therapy for a year or something like that) and then dying or dying immediately, I would choose the latter. That would even be the logical choice (unless you are a masochist). Think about that: doctors that get some incurable and deadly disease are the first that kill themselves, BECAUSE they know what their chances and remaining options are.

I meant what I said. You telling me that you feel sorry for someone who is selfish enough to bring her family and friends a lifetime of pain and suffering because you were on a damn school sex list? Seriously? And don't tell me she was only 13. At 13 your more than old enough to understand right from wrong and how idiotic it would be to do something drastic as commit suicide over something this small. She was just weak minded period!

Now if you were to tell me she was being beat and molested at home by one of her family members/neighbors for years, tortured in one way or fashion, living in a day to day physical torment that would indeed make daily life unbearable, maybe I can understand. But like I said before, THERE IS ALWAYS A BETTER SOLUTION.

Unless there is more to this story than this list, she doesn't deserve any sympathy.

I have no sympathy for people who commit account suicide, especially when they're junior members.

When I was in middle school early on, like 6th grade we (the boys) had a small stack of dirty magazines... maybe 3 or 4 rolled up and stuffed into a hole in the bathroom wall - there was a loose tile and basically a hidden compartment in the floorboard.

I remember kids would write girls names next to the women in the magazine... basically choosing which girl from class would be which porn model. Even worse, if there were any less attractive girls in the magazine (in ads or something) their faces were usually be drawn all over and they would be labeled as the "ugly" girls from class. Looking back it was really stupid, it lasted almost the entire year though, near the end of the school year the magazines mysteriously disappeared. Either some kid stole them or the janitor finally found the stash.

Suicide is very rarely a choice as such. Most people who attempt (and succeed) in suicide have depression or another mental illness. Depression is a change in the chemical and thought processes of your brain.

There are many things you can do to help yourself with depression, but unless you've had it or been close to someone who's had it you cannot understand how debilitation it is and it does not repect how "strong willed" you are, in fact I suspect that people who view themselves as strong willed have a tougher time dealing with depression.

Imagine depression as you digging a hole, as you get deeper into that hole your view of the world narrows to that circular opening at the top of the hole. You're choices seem very bleak, its dark and lonely in the hole. The suicidal thoughts often come unwanted and can be unsettling, but for some people, and at some stage in depression, the relief of oblivion seems a better option that the living hell that you are going through.

You cannot just talk yourself out of depression, it is chemical problem. There are certain visualisation and other methods that help reset the chemicals. Or medication helps reset them.

At 13 most people would not have life experience to handle it. Changes in hormones, with the onset of puberty can cause depression in young adults. Do not blame the girl in this. Her and her family deserves our sympathy.

Thread is sort of depressing. Do we even agree that we're sorry for what her family must be feeling right now? Because that's about as far as it ought to go.

Kids have no one to answer to. As a result, they do whatever they want to. I never participated in bullying because I was taught it was wrong. If my parents ever heard about me bullying someone then there would be hell to pay because I would have bought shame upon the family.
