This is the first time I've heard of it too. They said it was supposed to start today so I immediately switched on my XBOX and only found a free Ford sponsored Live game, Carcassonne. Maybe they were mistaken.

They are mistaken. For the "Live is 5ive" promotion only Carcassone is available for free (worth it though!)

To add, I'm glad Konami is putting the Metal Gear Solid Saga to rest with MGS4. There are only so many sequels I can stomach. I'm excited to play MGS4, and at the same time relieved this will be the last one.

By the time you usually hit 4 or 5 sequels in movies you are running out of ideas and coming up with this:

I really, REALLY hope that Gamevideos finds a way to get some videos of NiGHTS: JOD up that THEY have made before the games gets out. Because any official video that has been released - even through the 1up story last week, is completely the opposite of how you're really meant to play it.

And if anyone ends up reviewing the game thinking you're meant to play it like it has been shown.. god knows what scores it will get.

For gods sakes, if Shane knows how to play the game, let him do the god damn video footage for the game.

It was the same with Sonic Rush Adventure on the DS. Even the Gametrailers review of it was the worst one I've ever seen - The player barely - if at all - pressed the boost button.. which is essentially the major point of the bloody game.

I just don't see why Shane feels the need to always compare the two. They're both fun but they achieve this in two totally different ways. They're barely in the same genre. In this instance i was with Garnett

I can't see Shane liking Uncharted. I don't think he knows how shooter-oriented it is and the lack of auto-aim and ammo will most likely turn him off. basing this off his taste in games.

there was a news story a while back where someone said the gravity stuff from Galaxy was based off the gravity stuff from ratchet or something like that.

and the games are nothing alike at all.

Ratchet and Clank is like Jet Force Gemini, MARIO IS LIKE MARIO. Althought, you can compare Jak and Daxter to Mario.

and wow, this Portal and Prey analogy is awful. N'gai is good on the podcast, but his analogies are terrrrrrrible.

The same way you compare every other game in terms of quality. You play both and decide which is more fun.

You isolate aspects.
Ratchet has a lot more guns.
Super Mario Galaxy has a lot more gigantic flower petals.
