2 PSP games become Greatest Hits (Syphon Filter and Daxter)

Syphon Filter might be my favorite PSP title. At first I didn't give it much of a chance because of the controls, but I adjusted to them fast.

Daxter is okay, but it felt repetitive because there were only like 3 different enemies to fight. I quit at the final boss and forgot to ever go back and beat it.

They're ranked #6 and #7 at Gamerankings among PSP games.

Repeat til blue in the face. There are SO many things this game gets right that it isn't even funny....

When I FIRST got it, I actually thought it was meh, and didnt touch it for a while. Then I gave it another chance and it blew my mind. Not to mention the story (the STORY!) was pretty damn good too.

Syphon Filter is so good it feels like you're playing a true console game. In the palm of your hands.

I picked up a new copy of Syphon Filter: Dark Mirror and it did not require me to touch my V2.60 firmware...

I am good to go...

I played the first training mission, I hate the control of looking around with the triangle, circle, square and X. Oh well... I will still give it a go.

For $20, I have to give it a try... all reviews are highly positive.

There are other control presets that allow you to use the face buttons /\, X, etc to strafe and move while using the analog nub for looking around/aiming. I prefered to use I think was control C where it maps the controls similar to RE4. The analog nub is used to move Gabe around and even turn while pressing the L trigger brings Gabe to an aiming position with the camera slightly zoomed in. You then use the analog nub to look around in stationary postion with the [ ] and O button to strafe left and right while holding down the L trigger. I played the game using this preset and thought it was the best... however during online play everyone is using the other presets to run and aim at the same time.
