Yeah Superbease may not be a good basketball player but his heart is in the right place

His mistake was relying on his asshole friends to help him carry out his dreams

This is the day that he learned to trust no one

You got it wrong

It's BeaseCheese/SupercoolBeas

although I think "BeaseCheese" spawned from the NBA 2k9 league after we discovered Cerrius abusing the shit out of him

And I guess nobody would be like "oh shit, the dude from the shower commercials and the 2010-2011 most improved player is going to be playing! let's go watch him grab a few rebounds!"

Who's going to be the best player from the 2010 draft? Wall, Turner, Favors, and Cousins were considered pretty easily the best prospects before the draft. Turner had a pretty terrible year in which it didn't look like he could play in the NBA, Favors had a very bad (New Jersey) to okay (Utah) year, Wall put up stats but hurt his team, Cousins put up stats and hurt his team worse. It still looks like it will be between Wall, Favors, and Cousins for best player since all three showed potential and have worked really hard on improving their game during the lockout, but who do you think will be player from the draft?

No love for Davis or Monroe? Both had better rookie seasons than those guys, although Favors has a higher potential than both of those.

DMC

Hands down.

I'm not sure Monroe has the lift to be the best player from the draft and Davis is way, way too thin and is a good bit older than Wall, Cousins, and especially Favors.

Because to be a great big you need at least a 35 inch vert

Battlefield 3's art-style and animation looks so fucking nice. Meanwhile, MW3 looks like it did four years go.

Actually, you should be worried about that MW has a shitty MP to begin with.

But hey, I guess conflating two completely unrelated subjects is cool.

I could not agree any more with this statement

Are you getting it on PC? I remember you said something about building a new one sometime

And yeah, I am really sick of the Call of Duty series. I know BF3 has equipments with perks and stuff but the COD perks are fucking terrible and annoying

Maybe in a few months. I got too many loans to pay off at the moment.

I've always been more of a fan of Battlefield's gameplay. I skipped out on the Bad Comapny games (24 players plus no prone and smaller maps). The fact that BF3 has a lot of the stuff from BF2/2142 makes me excited.

The best part is I can be completely garbage in my K/D yet still help the team win.

That's what I like about the BF series so much. You can be an accomplished player and have a ton of fun because how varied the gameplay is. It's not all about the K/D ratio or how many kill-streaks you had in a row.

Crawling around in tall grass is always a blast. Hopefully BF can take away people that play like that in cod.

You should, thats what makes TF2 such a good experience. Because of the art direction every single class in the game is instantly recognizable due to their unique silhouettes, so the player is always able to recognize what is going on and who is doing it.

Good art direction in a multiplayer experience is key to the player not only having a good time, but actually play well.

I think that's more game design. I can look at an enemy player in cod and see which perk they are using just by looking at them. With shitty or good graphics it works. TF2 could have a realistic art style and still work.

I like how you dismiss my whole industry in 5 seconds, thats awesome.

Its both, of course you can tell a photo real dude is a sniper if hes holding a sniper rifle, but its about the split second response, when you have no time to think and just react. Of course it can be done in a realiztic or cartoony matter, but theres a lot of different approaches. Gears of War is a perfect example of it not working properly, because all the shapes and colors ae extremely similar, meaning many times you dont know what youre dealing with right away.

Youre also confusing good graphics with good art direction and good art design. Theyre not the same thing. These are things the player always takes for granted, because when they work well, you dont even notice them.

My point was that you can have the best graphics or art in the world and have a shitty game that's not fun to play. Yet I can go play quake 3 or 1.6 and still enjoy them because the gameplay is great. If you can have both, awesome.

COD: MW really suffers from this, too.

The player models are the same tint as the environment a lot of time. The lack of color (which is part of art-design!) is a real hindrance.

If you were really a proponent of good gameplay, you wouldn't be playing MW.

Right right, you play it because your friends do. I got it. No need to defend it because "it is what it is".

Besides, you were the one that brought up gameplay when I was very distinct and specific in my criticism.

I would still pick MW gameplay over BF because it is so much faster. I don't like having to search for my enemies for 15 minutes before I get killed by a tank from across the map.

Ain't nobody's fault but yours that you're about as clutch as Derrick Rose on the battlefield.

I suck at twitch shooters. Every time I have a bad round in COD I get annoyed. I don't "feel" my bad rounds in Battlefield games because there are so many other ways to feel useful, such as using defibrillators or shuttling people around in my jeep.

Art Direction != Gameplay.

Amazing how people miss that. But yea, BF3 looks great, even though U3/ACR will have my attention for a while.
