You know, if I didn't know any better I'd think you folks are trying to push me out of this fine establishment. But that couldn't be the case. I know under all of the animosity and crass remarks, you love me. YOU REALLY REALLY LOVE ME!!!

No way does Morris start this year unless we get rid of Lopez. Morris will be playing mostley with Brooks (if not Dowdell). Frye will be starting at the 4 for us if there is ever a season this year.
Frye is a nice piece, but he's no long term solution. Or even short term. He got shown up just about every game last year. He's a great stretch 5, and his effort is not doubted. But he's no 4. And as Marcin will be starting at 5, that means it's either frye, warrick, or morris @ 4.

I'd rather it be Morris. If he sucks, sub him out and put Frye in immediately. But he needs to develop if we're to go anywhere at all ever. It's morris or bust, so most likely bust, but lets figure that out sooner rather than later.

I agree with you though I don't see it happening (again, only if we get rid of Lopez). I think Frye would work better with the 2nd Unit as well and I'd like to see what Morris could do with Nash out there. I just don't see it happening. Before Frye dislocated his shoulder last year we were playing our best ball and really starting to come together. If he didn't get that injury I think we would've snuck in the bottom of the playoffs. It's probably better that we didn't though.

We need to make some sort of move though to get a starting 2. I really like Dudley but it would be awesome if somehow we could get J-Rich back.

BA, so if you had to guestimate right now, who do you think will win GotY?

Who do I think will, or who do I think my GoTY will be?

Two different questions..

Uncharted 3 most likely wins..

Skyrim will most likely be mine.

Demon's Soul was like a B tier RPG for me.. Dark Souls would have have so many improvements to push it to A tier.. It doesn't hold up to Mass Effect, Fallout, Elder Scrolls.. of this gen.. However it was better than Dragon Age 2!

I look at the Suns roster and really don't know how they win.. I am not trying to dog them.. But they really aren't that talented..

Not yet. I thought the terms "would have to" and the fact that I said I have not played it yet might have tipped you off.. lol

It is on my list of games to get.. but been catching up with PC gaming..

Nash and no major injuries holding them back. There is no other explanation.

Nash is pretty awesome, and changes the game no doubt... But I find it hard to believe that just he could make that team a playoff team. I mean Amar'e was still scoring fine without Nash in NY which wasn't suppose to happen... I wonder how they would look with another elite PG like Rose or Rondo...

There's really no one super talented on that team other than Nash but we were still only 6 games out of the playoffs. Frye went out for 3 weeks when we were playing our best ball of the season. Like I said, they wouldn't have done anything once they got there anyway but I think they might have made it if he hadn't of gone out.

Also, this is basically still the same team minus Amare and J-Rich that went to Western Conference Finals two years ago. Now they actually have a pretty good big in Gortat and what they lost in offense at the 4, hopefully can be made up a bit in defense and rebounding by Morris.

Doesn't really matter anyway though since there doesn't appear to be any ball any time soon.

Gortat is very overrated.. very...

They need to get younger on the wings..

Don't want j-rich back. He's old, he's where he should be. They need to make much better use of him though.

Dudley isn't a starter. I'm JYD's biggest fan possibly. But he's no starter. I'd never trade him though.

I say the same thing. But the answer is Nash. Gentry is also great at getting the best out of what he has.

Atleast we have a 5 that, you know, plays as a 5.

Nash really is that Good. He does his work in the early and mid game, not the late game, but sometimes i think he's under appreciated at just how fricken good he is. I know, 2 time and all that, but last year he got dogged.

Amare scored well in NY to start the season, but his efficiency took a hit, and the work load of creating for him self entirely, took its toll. Amare proved he's a good player regardless... the question is now, if he can win and sustain those levels without help (in the form of nash creating a lot for him to finish off).

I also still aint mad @ sarver over his contract. SO many injury worries about the long term viability of Amare. Back, Eyes, Knees. So much risk there.

The suns need starting 2, 3 & 4. Gortat is over-rated, but he's still a legit starter. I don't know if he'll ever be decent in the PnR as his movement doesn't look fluid at all, but very forced. Would have been great to have him beside Amare the year before though.

But once Nash goes at the end of this season, the suns need starters from 1 - 4. We're basically boned.

I personally think Nash is over valued... Dude is a true PG tho no question there and maybe one of the best to play the position.. I think GP in his prime was better but Nash has amazing lasting power in his career..

Still he plays ZERO D.. so for all the points he scores or helps score he is giving away quite a few on the other end..

Nash plays D, just poorly. I mean, it gets even more exposed when you have Amare behind you which isn't going to help.

Giri, kwame is a 6 and tyrus is a 3

So, Kwame is a 2 & 4, and TT will play the 3?

I'd still rather trade for DJ.

Having Gotrat behind him didn't improve his D at all.. he plain sucks at it.. No spinning can change. I mean.. the greatest PG of all time was horrible on D.. Magic couldn't D anyone very well... but he played D smarter than Nash.. Nash has just str8 said fuck D.

So when will the Thunder give the Trailblazers their mercy fuck?

Going by +/-, Nash was the best player in the league last year which I found pretty amazing. The Suns were 17 points per 100 possessions worse with him off the court, just ridiculous.

He also had one of the 5 highs WS% or something? or that might have been the season before, i forget.

Its why i'd love to see him go to Orlando. D12 to cover for him on D, and someone sane running that O. Orlando still have other problems, but my lord it would be fun to watch.

LaMarcus Aldridge, Zach Randolph, and Steve Nash combined for three fewer MVP votes last year than Tony Parker.

What the fuck.

People jumped on the Spurs are back bandwagon..

Again MVP always goes to winning teams, and guys with baggage like Zach would have to have a 40/25 season to get it..

I think Blake Griffin got more votes, too.

Still, Blake Griffin had five votes compared to zero for Nash, Aldridge, and Randolph.

And I forgot that not only did Rose win MVP, but it was basically unanimous, how did that happen?

Great record plus young superstar in a large market city = not hard to figure out the answer..

Yeah, Zach really would have to put up 30/15/8 to get it. His consistency @ 20 & 10 means a move to 25 & 12 whilst massive really, doesn't have enough impact.

Part of its impact. First time he'd put up those stats, a big increase in the quality of chi-towns games, more wins, top record, Rose's ever increasing profile.
