what does LBJ's "amazing" passing matter if he won't run an O. No really, i get sick of this argument. Unless he's running the point, and running it properly, it's a completely fucking useless talent to have. So Wade is just as good as lbj defensively, just as poor a shooter, and creates just as much for others. Apart from being injured more, he has no downside. He has a much larger upside in he's about 10x as mentally strong.ItWasMeantToBe19 said:If you want supporting players since Wade and LeBron can't play together or something, Wade should be traded since he's LeBron - shooting - defense - passing + injuries and is even less clutch and more of a bitch.

turn off your pagefile, its using at least 10GB and isn't really needed.reilo said:Where the fuck are the other 20GB coming from? BF3 and Origin only take up 11GB wtf.

LBJ's not as good on D as LBJ wants to make out to be. Wade might not be AS good, but he's 95% of it.Black Mamba said:Wade is not as good as Lebron on D, sorry.

Flawless chase down block.

For the record, marion scored above his post season average, in the finals.
Played a hell of a series chasing Ray Allen around while putting up 30 a game. Shut him down for the most part.*
*After getting torched by him during the regular season.

Black Mamba said:Marion regular season: 52%. finals: 47%. Only scored 1 moire point because he played 7 more minutes.
Comparing Marion to the rest of his postseason is silly because his series vs Lakers was terrible.
LBJ is a bit overrated on D, but not like Wade. LBJ is a very good defensive player. He also shut out Terry in game 2, before he disappeared completely from the Finals in every way. But I'm not silly enough to judge LBJ's defense on 4 games rather than the last 3 seasons combined.
Did you see LBJ shut down Rose?
And again, a Phx Suns fan knows what about defense, exactly?
Ray Allen's efg% was better in that series than his regular season.
They were a team built on D. It's what they did in Cleveland. iirc, Z didn't play a heck of a lot in a lot of those Cavs series. They'd swap him out of Hickson or someone else athletic.Black Mamba said:Well, ray Allen wasn't "shut down" as claimed. he scored the same on higher/same efficiency.
Kobe today is not better than Lebron because of his lateral movement.
I also don't recall Lebron talking about his defense a lot, but whatever.
Wade isn't close to the defensive player Lebron is, sorry. You're simply wrong here. LBJ's a better man to man defender and a much better help defender. He's not all-world like the NBA tries to prop up, but he's damn good. Wade is simply about above average, but zomg blocks!
I don't understand how you could not see how Lebron's defensive impact. Go back to when he was on Cleveland. Outside of Varajeo, he had no one else who was a good defender by his side. Their defense was top 7 2 years running and it was because of those 2. Mo Williams? old ass Z? Hickson? old ass Shaq? Gibson? Please.
lmaogiri said:But when he wants to, Kobe is probably a little better than LBJ (Probably due to being smarter), but again, he loves to gamble also.
oh i'm not disagreeing about now. Last season saw a lot of stuff catch up to him.Duki said:lmao
only people kobe can defend these days are brandon roy, tmac and bow wow
the tragedy of kobes decline is going to be the fact that its impossible for him to ever be relegated to defending fisher

He's a good man defender, but so is wade. if you really think there's a huge gap between the two, i think you're buying a bit of the hype. And LBJ talks up his d all the time. He talked shit about it in the C's series, the last one he played in a cavs jersey.
Maybe 95% is a bit much? but it's certainly no worse than 90%. To say otherwise is just fallacy and hype. And i 'd give it up all day every day for the difference between the two in terms of mental strength and determination. Every day.
I'd agree on last seasons kobe, but the one 2 or 3 years ago? hmmmmmm

Afflalo, Sefelosha, Ron, Allen, Paul Pierce. Marion even maybe after the last finals. IggoudalaBlack Mamba said:Possibly he did, I don't recall. I really don't think Wade is that good of a man defender. This has nothing to do with hype, just how I view Wade's defense as always overrated. I don't know if I would say the gap is "huge" per se, but Lebron is a probably top 5 wing defender (no PGs) in the league right now (Tony Allen, Battier, Ron better, but who else?). I see a legit drop-off to Wade.
Not really defending wades d at all. Giri and I are saying that lebrons d just isn't that much better, when speaking on skill alone. Which is kinda what you're saying.Sharp said:Are people really defending Wade's D?
Dude is 6 feet tall... for that reason alone he will never be LBJ on D. He could be better at every defensive fundamental there is (and he isn't) and he still wouldn't be better than LBJ on D.
Dy_nasty said:Lebrons d ain't that good. Seeing him run from everyone in blue during that Orlando series proved that to me. He can push guys around, but after that what? Chase down block? Early outlet? As soon as things stop going his way he turns into a bigger dumber ariza.
Seeing him run away from Hedo and rafer is a bad mark on a resume. And even if you want to get technical, what are his defining defensive performances? IF you manage to actually specify one of his, they're typically filled with some kind of narrow perspective that completely ignores all factors of the matchup. Kobe, KG, Duncan, Pierce, hell... almost every 'good' defensive player has a legit resume. Lebrons is weak at best and imaginary to most.iamshadowlark said:Lebron's D may tend to be overrated but to try and limit his strengths to "pushing guys around" and chasedown blocks is disingenuous as hell.

Triple L riding those hot new Heat nuts. By all means, keep thinking that the heat will steamroll teams forever. Because that happens all the time in everything ever right? The heat need to improve in a sudden way because they never improved through the season. At all. I've never seen a team remain static from start to finish but the heat are that anomaly. Not only that, but they've convinced everyone, especially their new fans, that it should just be accepted. "Just sign this guy" "trade our shitty rookie for that guy" How about get on the same page for more than a week, grow up, and play to potential instead of making excuses for your self proclaimed greatest? 90% of heat fans have never looked at a game objectively. Why? Because they were attracted to the pretty colors from the start. At least Lakers fans are obviously masochists and have some clear delusional expectations of a team - not just a never ending highlight reel.iamshadowlark said:Yep poor heat fans. Dice has come out and stated that lead platform for BF3 was changed from PC to consoles midway to make sure all versions were completed on time. Also that they said the PC was the lead platform because fans were complaining. People who were praising the PC version for being awesome are now saying 'they knew it was consolized, its trash' etc.
