Wait, jdez got banned again? I dont get it, its not so fucking hard people, getting banned within a week of being back from a banning is ridiculous.

Wrasslegaf and bestgaf lost a great one today in Frankman. Wrasslegaf will really miss him.

Today? Did he come back and get rung up again? Dude will be back soon, he's been out for a bit. Hopefully that ban he got a while back isn't for much longer.

Edit: Damn it frank! oh shit duki too!?

Stay out of Girls-age, y'all. Eyebrows are some dangerous shit.

Wall looks broken, and that he possibly doesn't give a single fuck anymore.

Wall was never a good shooter and his passing this year has been garbage.

Wall needs to stop treating the NBA like its HS and get a little more serious. In the offseason he needs to hire a strength and conditioning coach and a skills coach and put in some work.

In retrospect, balling all summer might not have been good for him either. He seems to get gassed like midway through the third quarter most nights and I wonder if part of that isn't the fact that he never really got a chance to recover from his rookie season.

I think he's fine health wise. I haven't seen every wiz game but I've seen dumb rotations where Wall plays the entire third and doesn't come back until late in the 4th, so that probably has something to do with it.

Wall is playing dumb basketball right now and it's hard to judge where his floor might be right now given how poisonous this lockerroom is.

I have to say I'm extremely disappointed in Leonsis. With the Caps looking terrible and the way he's handled the Wiz so far I have lost a lot of trust in him. Flip should not be coaching this team anymore. Ernie should be gone. We should give most of Crawfords minutes to Mo Evans.

Singleton getting more minutes along with Vesely and Booker is the only good thing to happen this year.

One thing that can be said about Wall in regards to development is that chances are low that he will be a great player. Other top players have walked on to shitty teams and did their best to change to culture of the team from day one. Wall has just gone along with the flow. Players that want to lead a team don't join a bad team and go along with the flow.

So, the Heat win 8 of their first 9 games, and the LeBron haters are strangely silent. Then, they lose two in a row, and they all come out of their caves and snark to no end on Twitter.

Seriously, am I the only one that sees the hypocrisy here? What the hell is wrong with you people? Is it that much easier to kick someone when they're down or something?

LeBron haters amuse me to no end with their hypocrisy.

We told you a thousand times, but theres been no lack of criticism here in this thread.

I save my, "Lebron lol," for crush time fuck ups and playoff bitch ups. Do you want us to talk about Lebron's diminishing athletic ability?

To be fair, Rose came on to a team with guys who weren't dumb as fuck.

He had Deng, Good Ben Gordon, Healthy Kirk Hinrich and Noah.....

all of which is waaaaay better than what the Wizards have.

Rose really didn't assert himself until those guys were gone. Much easier to fit in.

Wall won't be Rose but the guy is talented. I doubt he becomes a top guy but he will be a solid player for a long time....just got to get it together and slow the fuck down.

Get used to it. As a Yankee fan, I hear it all the time regarding Jeter and Arod. Let them hate. Most of the time, the hate is hilarious and you just have to sit back and enjoy it. You get some legitimate laughs sometimes (come on, some of the Twitter stuff that got posted overnight was hilarious).

It doesn't bother you after a while, I love it when MLB-age shits on Jeter being "shitty" or Alex dating some has been wrestling chick, because they have that chip. It'll bug you less when/if you get that chip.

I think a lot of it still has to do with the way Wade/Lebron/Bosh came together and how much pomp and circumstance there was. Then they announced they'd win multiple chips ("not one, not two..") and put expectations on themselves. It's similar to how the Jets are crashing and burning right now.

It's good that the Lebron hate amuses you, it's gonna be there until he gets the chip. Once/If he does, it'll get louder, but you won't care.

Sometimes, you just gotta say "Shump it" and move on.

Lebron was drafted by the cavs and got guys traded. Sonics were terrible when they drafted Durant. Roy changed the blazers. Wall just went with the flow. Not a good sign.

Having Andray Blatche around can not be good for his development.

His talent is obvious, but it's gonna be wasted if he doesn't stop playing like it's a pickup game. I think coaching/teammates have a lot to do with it and he doesn't exactly have a nurturing environment to expand his game in. You're right, those players came in and changed cultures in those locker rooms, I don't know if Wall is that type of player yet of if he even will be.

Devin Harris with zero offensive win shares ten games into the season :(

I can't be mad about this season , other than Devin Harris sucking the Jazz played hard last night. All i really ask is that the young guys get minutes and the team play hard. Favors still needs more minutes though. Our record will get worse but i was expecting 25ish wins so...

I saw in the box score that Favors still has that nice round number in the assists column. Does he not understand that he can pass, like it is actually legal?

Did Duki get white knighted?

he rarely gets the ball in position to pass, usually he gets it where he can go up and finish or he is going after putbacks. I'm honestly not worried about it.

Jazz are in desperate need of good guard play. I really hope that we can make a move and pick up a PG or SG right now its killing us.

They have been a lot better than I was expecting and pretty decent. Millsap and Howard have had great starts, Al has been good against undersized frontlines (not so much against guys like Kwame or Bynum though...), Favors is improving, Kanter has been alright, Watson is still good. Just wish the team had a long-term (or short-term) solution at PG and that Favors and Kanter would start taking some of Al's minutes and Burks would take some of Bell/CJ's.

Pretty sure if some other player missed a FT, gets bailed out by someone else and miss another FT, I'd blame whoever missed that FT to the loss. That wasn't even tied to LeBron on how badly he choked. If it happened to Kobe, I'd blame that on Kobe as well.

Stop right there.

Jeter is a 5 time WS champion and ARod is a 1 time WS champion.

And let's keep it real, mang, ARod has a history of being unclutch in big games, whereas Jeter is almost always clutch.

Not even comparable to the LeBron critiques.

I know the championship history.

I put Jeter in because of the hate he got for his success and how some felt he was in the right place in the right time (agreed, not applicable to Lebron).

The Lebron/Alex comparison is more apt in this case though, because like Lebron, Alex got lots of hate (unfair as it may have been) for some of his poor post season performances. Anyone who watched him play during his MVP years with the Yanks as well as the championship run knows he dispelled that notion. He's carried the Yanks a few times during first round wins against Minnesota.

My comparison was more so dealing with people hating on your team in general because of past or likely future success or due to the team's popularity.

Miami fans seem to have an issue dealing with the amount of hate they actually get. Thought they would be used to it by now.

So now that the dust has settled from last night I love how some of the Heat fans are spazzin out and the non Heat fans are actin like the Heat don't have this seasons championship on lock down.

Also, while Kobe is in beast mode currently he's not going to be able to continue at this current pace. He needs to save some in the tank for when the Lakers get to the playoffs because D12 isn't going to be able to do it alone.

In more important news, according to RBH in the NFL thread, frank isn't perm'd. He'll be back to Shump it up in two months.

All praise due to God Shumpgod.

Typically, he was utterly unaware he had even been approaching Bird’s mark. “Really?” he said. “Wow. How’d I do that?” Duncan said Bird wasn’t one of his basketball heroes as a youngster but appreciates his greatness. “I was actually a Lakers fan,” he said. “Magic Johnson and James Worthy. But it’s great. That’s unbelievable.”

jobba am cry?

Timmy, come to LA, you can be Dwights back up for the next two years.

You(probably) said they had it on lockdown last year too.

That's why you play the games.

I remember when they made it to the Finals, people here thought Dallas shouldn't even show up.

I made a ban bet with Pheenix and after the heat lost we both agreed we wouldn't go through with it. That was to jinx the Heat last year but this year its a fact. The Heat have it on lock barring any long term injury to one of the great three.

They're the same team as last year(minor additions, possibly a bit better with experience together).

When Mario Chalmers is your clutch player, you're not guaranteed to win anything.

Jester is the worst fielding shortstop in the American league.

Yes, however the Mavericks won't be doing shit, the Bulls still lack a spot up shooter to help Rose, and the Thunder won't be able to handle the pressure if/when they get to the finals. Who else has a shot to win it?

Don't sleep on Rip.

If he ever plays agains, he makes the Bulls significantly better.

He's just going to improve every game if healthy and while obviously not in his prime, still can hit midrange jumpers consistently.

Sorry but in the end its going to come down to Rose, every single time, and I don't know if he's prepared to improve on how he handled the pressure last year. No matter how many times Bronze fails, the second option is there for him while its not there for Rose.

Deng or Rip can hit big shots, they just need to be trusted and given them but yeah, it IS going to amount to Rose and if he can close playoff games against the best of the best.

Derrick's a clutch player, he just didn't get it done against the Heat for whatever reasons.

I expect him to be much better in the playoffs this year as he left a lot of room for improvement.

He seems more at peace with this team, hasn't had to do too much this year but it is the regular season after all.

The Bulls will always lack the numerous scorers the other teams have but they have a legitimate shooting guard now(Rip will average 12-14 points a game compared to Bogans' like 3-5) and no excuses.

That 4-1 playoff loss to the Heat was more like a 6-7 game series in closeness but the big shots to be made weren't by the Bulls.

The Heat will be as tough this year but no "elite" or "very good" team should be afraid of them as they still are streaky shooters and rely too much on jumpers.

If I had all the fucks in the world I wouldn't give one of them. Its just so damn hilarious how joyous it gets around here after a meaningless loss. The trolls are really in top form when Lebron has a bad game.

Thats was more of a fallacy of last night. This season the attack has been more around the rim than not.

One good thing about Rip is that he'll take a big shot if open instead of hesitating then passing back to rose like the entire Bulls roster last year.

Bulls have to beat MIA 4 times just to get to the finals and then they have to beat OKC 4 times.

Postseason is going to be soo good.

Thats was more of a fallacy of last night. This season the attack has been more around the rim than not.

Will it be when it matters most though???

James has an identity crisis that I don't know if he can shake.

I could see Wade taking it to the rack at the end of games(many advantages in that;) ) but I could see LeBron just confused when a guy that can move his feet stays in front of him and just pulling up for long two pointers.

If I was the Heat coach, I'd have Bosh and LeClown driving to the basket over 80% of the time, they both don't realize their own games which is good news for all the other teams.

Here's the problem though, when the Heat picked up their trio, NBA-Age was flooded by drive by one time posters that the Heat were going to win the next umpteen chips. Therefore, any loss by the Heat is going to be magnified 10x. LeBron and co. have themselves to blame for the high expectations and the inevitable trolling when they lose so I'm not going to blame those who do exactly that. It's just that now with the Celtics, Spurs, Lakers, Mavericks not competing for a chip, the Heat are the only team left for the most part.
