Congrats to the Portland Trail Blazers for winning their Superbowl! Astounding win. No need to play any more games or some such.

honestly, the thread title is lame. We need to come up with a better one. (yes, I get the reference to mangaf)

Something with Flop City, perhaps?

Do you know the story behind it? If not, ask Cloving.

yes, I do. I even mentioned it. I dunno, I just don't care for it.

Anyway:

Most Points Single Game, NBA History - Player at Least 16 Seasons Into Career Season:

#1 Kobe Bryant - 48 points (2011-2012)

#2 Kareem Abdul-Jabbar - 46 points (1985-1986)

#3 Shaquille O'Neal - 45 points (2008-2009)

#4 Kareem-Abdul-Jabbar - 43 points (1984-1985)

Kobe tops Shaq again!

Is there a picture of Blake Griffin with the caption "Bitch, you wasn't with me floppin' in the gym", out there yet?

So really, whom else is Kobe supposed to hate? Channing Frye? Hakim Warrick? He sure doesn’t hate Shannon Brown, his former teammate whom he embraced in a tight hug right after the buzzer sounded.

It’s gotta be Nash.

Those 48 points Kobe scored during the Lakers’ 99-83 victory were the most since he scored since March 22, 2011 – against the Phoenix Suns. This can’t be a coincidence. Kobe is too cold and calculating for this to be coincidence.

“I don’t like them,” Bryant said of the Suns. “Plain and simple, I do not like them. They used to whip us pretty good and used to let us know about it and I. Will. Not. Forget. That.”

Even though most of the guys from that team are gone?

“I. Don’t. Care,” Bryant said. “I won’t let it go.”

lol, now that's salty.

I can't hate Nash. The guy is a class act and has always played the game the right way.

Tim Thomas and Raja Bell, those two I can hate.

Bell, Amare and Pringles are far removed from being apart of 60 win playoff teams. Kobe got two more before any of them got any.

He who laughs last.

One fucking rebound. All we needed. One fucking rebound.

Though who knows if we ever would have traded for Pau if the wilderness team had won a playoff series or made the WCF.

Man, i fucking hate that rebound. God Damn Kwame jumping past Thomas. I will never remove that shot from my memory. I hate Tim Thomas with such a passion. Lakers would have definitely rolled the Clips in the next round and made the WCF. Can't believe Kobe was basically one Tim Thomas fucking 3 away from taking Cook, Mihm, Kwame, Smush, and Luke (with lamar) to a WCF..

And yeah, we hated that Suns team. I was at game 3 (had tix to game 4 and couldn't go...ugh) and the vitriol in the stands was amazing. I hadn't seen that since the late 90s Jazz came to town (I never saw Kings, though). Everyone loves Steve Nash but Laker fans. People think Laker fans at the games are just quiet and shit. But when it came to that Suns team, it was loud and vicious.

There was so much about that team I hated.

this is where brandi chimes in about how we us poor laker fans complain about 1 year we didn't win compared to the 100 others. and sad clown
