11 shots, fantastic sample size.

He's so trusted as a shooter, he's getting a whole 1 three point attempt a game!

Come back after 30 or 40 games. You can improve a jumper, rose has done it. It's very unlikely to do it in your 7th season though.

Not sure what you are referring to but my initial comment directed towards whoever that dude is clearly had to do with Brewer's shooting THIS YEAR.

Of course he struggled last year but he showed signs and he wouldn't be a decent(shall I even say good) shooter so far this year if he flat out could never shoot the ball.

Blake Griffin isn't a good outside shooter but hyperbole like "terrible" only is used like it's going out of style on forums like this.
 
I'm glad Brewer is playing well. Hopefully he will continue shooting well and it isn't some sampling error. Has been a fine stand in off the bench.

I can only go what I have seen so far, not going to live in the past as it's a different year.

I'd be surprised if he went back to the tank with his jumper though I'd be as surprised if he kept it up at this rate.

He's much improved.

Boozer is a "terrible" defender(no hyperbole).

Ronnie Brewer is a "terrible" shooter(hyperbole).

We shall see.

I still don't want him starting but who knows????

Obviously you can lose the starting job in sports due to injury as Brewer was supposed to start last year instead of Bogans.

Thibs might not want to mess with what is working but I'm fairly positive Rip will start when he's ready............unless he's really ineffective.

Rubio is the Tim Tebow of the NBA but not exactly.

He's fun to watch and makes plays every so often that get highlighted more than maybe they should.

Will he be one of the best pointguards or better pointguards in the league for years to come???

I personally don't think so but he's a legitimate NBA player and I thought he wouldn't be.....at all.

Just putting this out there, Karl Malone also had the reputation of choking away big games even though he was a model of consistency in the regular season.


Lebron James and Dwight are the same way. Go back and look at Dwights numbers in the Finals in 09, particularly in game 1 and 2.


You don't win championships with Regular Season MVPs that fail to show up consistently in the post season. Dwight fails to show up consistently in the post season. Melo had a good run in 09 too, lest we get confused and actually think he's a good playoff performer.

lol Rubio is nothing like Tebow. Rubio is the best pure pg in the 23 and under age group. He makes passes that Rose could only make in his dreams. When the wolves get some respectable wings and centers he will put up 10 assists a game.

When he plays 32 minutes a game he'll put up 10 assists a game without added talent. The dude is a top 6 pure PG in this league.


Edit: Looked at the rosters, he's actually top 7.

I'm not demeaning Rubio as he's decent it seems and a nice dude and most importantly, gives those poor fans something to cheer about but I saw a gif of an alley oop posted in this thread and you see passes like that all the time by any guard that has any touch(not hard to throw it up and have these insane athletes get it).

He's a great story like Tebow, hopefully he'll be a great player(he does have more of a chance than Timmy).

Ridnhour hurt the Bulls more than Rubio but Rubio actually got the crowd involved and that scared me.

I hate to agree with you, but you're correct. The only thing Rose does better than Rubio is score.

Rubio is on a J Kidd/Magic Johnson/Steve Nash level of play making because he makes plays I don't see developing at times and I'm watching the game from the birds eye view.

Really? I've never seen Rose throw a no look alley oop from half court with one hand. And I've seen Rubio do it 3 times in one game. And the team he did it against was the Heat.

Maannnnn, Rose don't even need to worry himself about this. We don't need him to beat these bums coming up in our schedule (Wiz, Grizz, Sols). We just need everybody healthy for the Heat.
 
There's only 2 to 4 guys playing that can make the type of passes Rubio makes. And Rose isn't one of them. Rose's value is in his scoring not his passing.
