a team that starts a 38 year old and a 29 year old is young.
yep.
yep.
is this your first time on nba-age or something?Good job insulting someone and completely avoiding the points made in the post.
The Suns were 39-36 with Nash last year (1-6 without him)
Not sure any other PG in the league could have gotten that team to a winning record.
Ignoring the defensive end completely? Even that would be a tough argument, but there is no way Nash is better than Cp3 in the context of the entire game.
How is Portland too young or inexperienced? They rank 5th in the league in age (adjusted to minutes played), and 7th in average age? You don't know what you are talking about.
I don't know what I can't stand to look at more, your avatar or your posts.
Stop. Just Stop.
Good job insulting someone and completely avoiding the points made in the post.
It was a legitimate post with good points. The West is weak. There is ONE team who might be trouble for LA and that's OKC. They could easily implode in the playoffs with Westbrook's streakiness, just like last year.
WHO ELSE IS THERE THAT CAN BEAT THEM IN THE WEST?
Portland: too young and inexperienced
Dallas: doesn't give a fuck
Memphis: hurt and just not good enough
Spurs: old and on their last wheel, Timmy's playing like 15 mins a game
Clippers: not a chance
Denver: too inexperienced, too streaky, not better than LA
Utah: really not worth mentioning
That leaves OKC and if you honestly think LA stands no chance vs. them you're insane. It would be a long series and could go either way.
So if they can beat OKC in the playoffs, they're basically in the Finals. How can you insult me for this? I can't stand how people just disregard my posts and just drop shitty condescending insults like that. Read what I just fuckin' wrote and tell me how it's ridiculous and stupid and what have you.
So let's say they somehow get past the incredible Thunder, they're in the Finals. And ANYTHING can happen in the Finals. Even if they've got to play the Heat, WHO KNOWS WHAT HAPPENS? It's one series. There's no guarantees. I'm tired of getting talked down to.
You're fighting a lonely battle here.Camby being 45 sways the average.
Either way, they're not better than the Lakers. You can even admit this.
For the new page:

He needs to stop letting Anthony Carter expose him on defense.Jimmer needs to not worry at all about scoring this season. We have enough black holes. Just learn to dish it to everyone and keep your ass behind the 3-point line when you don't have the ball and hope for someone to pass it to you for an open shot. That's it. He's trying too hard to prove himself.
If you'll admit CP3 can't play like CP3 for a full regular season, Nash is probably about equal with him in the context of a full regular season. Come the post season, because CP3 can elevate his defense, he's better.
Nash is astoundingly consistently great, in the regular season. He's even still very very good in the post season. But his defensive flaws get fully exposed there.
Lakers-age, just so you know
PER is no less flawed when you use it to praise Kobe than when it's used to say things about players you don't like
What?
Aldridge: 26
Camby: 37
Felton: 27
Mathews: 25
Gerald: 29
Crawford: 31
Batum: 23
Those are the top players on Portland's roster. Batum is the youngest at 23 and he's been in the league for four years now and has a ton of international ball experience.
Like I said: you don't know shit.
Why oh why didn't I place my name as Buster fatass Douglas.
is this your first time on nba-age or something?
OK fine, I was wrong about their age. SORRY. Let's move on. Bottom line and all that matters: Is Portland better than the Lakers? Do you think they'd beat LA in a 7-game series? Answer that question truthfully.
There is only one team that would 'scare' me and that's OKC and I've explained that already.
Keith Smart coaching his team on the final possession: "SWITCH EVERYTHING!"
Yeah, Keith, never mind worrying about teaching them how to properly defend the pick'n'roll/pick'n'pop, JUST SWITCH EVERYTHING BABY! After all we have all these fantastic, versatile defenders!
What?

Yeah, i'll be surprised if portland make it out of the first round, but age / experience won't be the reason why.
It doesn't matter if he doesn't play like "full CP3." Reduced CP3 is still better than Nash, Deron, etc.
He was the best PG in the game last season and the last few years sans the 45 game season.
Also, let's not pretend Cp3 had the shooters that Nash has to hit shots.
Who is using PER right now?
It was funny and sad that during the game against us, you could hear him constantly calling out shit to the team.....don't think they listened.
No idea what kind of team Portland will be at the end of the season.
But if the playoffs started today and Portland faced LAL in the playoffs? Portland wins.
Monroe_SA: Update on TJ Ford injury: Torn left hamstring, out 4-6 weeks
What? this post is all sorts of wrong. On just about all points.
I'll take Deron to run Point over CP3, something we've argued to the death every time. CP3 just isn't "the clear best pg". Never has been.
CP3 wasn't the best PG in the game last season.
And lets not make out that the suns had the defenders that the hornets did either. Both teams were (are) massively flawed, but found ways to win.
God, seeing you guys fall for Heavy's schtick is worse than seeing Spaniard bite every time Mike Tyson calls Rubio The Horrible eurotrash.
I'd like some non-homer opinions on that. Gerald Wallace isn't going to score 31 every game in that series.Yes.
Lakers just had Kobe, Bynum and Pau combine for 70 points and still lost by double digits. That's no coincidence.
If Portland has home-court? Forget it.
The fact that you're even putting the Spurs up there in the same echelon is insane. Same with Denver. Really? You honestly think Denver would have a chance in a 7-game series? The fact of the matter is that OKC and MAYBE Portland if they get home court would be the only roadblocks.portland literally shat all over you like less than a week ago and they're too young (what?) and inexperienced (what?) to beat you?
you dont even have one guy on your roster who can defend westbrook or durant anymore (unless ronald somehow goes back in time to 2010) and they're only maybe a challenger?
you have a team that's as old as the spurs but they're too old to beat you?
denver literally was a blown layup from probably beating you on the road in you own house in overtime
and then they shat on you the next day when they were at home and they cant beat you?
heavy do you even like
think
for one fucking second
about the shit you write
like ever
There is no schtick. I wouldn't waste all this time typing up posts in some elaborate troll. When I troll it's plainly obvious like "LeBron's terrible blah blah blah", sarcasm and making fun. I'm being serious.God, seeing you guys fall for Heavy's schtick is worse than seeing Spaniard bite every time Mike Tyson calls Rubio The Horrible eurotrash.
When all the black holes find out they won't be able to jack up their usual 20 shots per game, they stop caring.
Except Salmons. He never gave a single fuck his entire life.
No idea what kind of team Portland will be at the end of the season.

I don't trust the portland medical staff to have Crash alive at the end of the season. I really don't. And i don't trust their med staff to have all of that starting 5 healthy at the end of the season.
When was the last time portlands starting 5 at the start of the season, also played their first play off game as the starting 5? Would be interesting to know.
Its a solid starting 5, no doubt though. And they'll make the play offs. May even make the top 4.
I'm not sure if the Shump stuff is a joke but the guy looks pretty good so far.
GT coach is the worst there is.

Salmons has to lose his starting job at some point. Garcia or Greene would be a far more balanced lineup.
