By every statistical measure, he was. For the most part, anyone who watched the games agree there too. I would say 95% of the people who don't think CP3 is the best PG happen to be Phx or Utah fans.

For obvious reasons.

edit: so you think Rose was the best PG last year? Or really Nash (lol)

Yeah, fans of teams that have actually had good PG's over the last 5 years and seen them at work for 5 years, and have the best reference frame for juding CP3's body of work too, other than hornets fans.

So for obvious reasons we find people who start with "statistically... CP3"... you can fill this in.

Your argument of favoritism would be bolstered if i was arguing for Nash as the best, btw. But is entirely flawed because i'm not. But lets keep taking cheap shots!

Best PG in the regular season? it was probably Rose, the MVP. Maybe not in the traditional running of the point sense, but he carried more offensive load than Nash did probably. CP3 had a very up and down regular season last year, he was either brilliant or ineffective entirely. Derons season last year was disaster from start to finish.

I mean, that Bulls team had no other genuine super star on it other than rose. Did anyone other than rose make the ASG? Not saying it was a bad team, but he did a lot of the heavy lifting him self on offense, just like the other 3.

If The Lakers overachieve then they're in the WCF. Any wins after that will be a pleasant surprise. If they get the offense together which may never happen, then they can at least compete with the best teams in the league.

Being healthy and with some momentum, I think The Lakers could surprise some teams.

Of course I' biased.

these arguments are so stupid. 7 game sample does not represent a team. Not to mention, if there's no nash, they'd use that cap space on someone else to replace it. It's not in a fucking vaccuum.

CP3 would have had that team win 43-45 games.

I wasn't using the "Suns 1-6 without Nash" argument too heavily, it was just something to be noted since they finished 40-42 and saying the Suns with Nash had a winning record last year had to be explained. My argument was mostly based on this:

Gortat
Hill
Dudley
Fyre
Wince
Brooks
Robin Lopez
Warrick

That's just a horrific roster that Nash somehow made decent.

Jimmer is just horrible at basketball. I'm not sure how many years it'll take him to even look like he doesn't belong in the D-League.

Health is a HUGE issue for the lakers. They're the shallowest they've been for a while now. If Kobes wrist takes another hit... Bynums knee's taking this many games in a shortened time frame... Pau's vagina not bleeding...

I can see them beating teams, i can also see them getting swept by teams just as easily.

A lot of the post season will also come down to mike brown. And thats got to be scary.

My body ain't ready.

NBA GAF, a quick favor- anyone have any general advice for fantasy bball? Never done it before, used to football, would appreciate any general tips/tricks/advice. Thanks!

Every time Boozer misses a shot it feels like someone has punched me in the chest.

I've been in a lot of pain lately.

Don't overreact. Isn't it a back to back to back, for the 6ers?

That's a poor exscuse. We basically only played two quarters against the Kings.

Our issue is that we start slow as shit and have to always come back to win. Against teams that lack scorers this is okay...against teams with scorers it is not.

The Knick may not be s good as some may have thought but with Stat and Melo they have guys who can score.

Outside of Lou, we don't.

Playing the comeback game every game won't work.

One game and all that but still I'm just not impressed with this team yet.

Out of all playoff contenders in the league, do the Thunder have the worst starting frontcourt or is that the Celtics?

Right Now?

Chicago.

Man, there are so many lacking front courts that whilst OKC's doesn't put up numbers, they are defensive beasts, it's very hard to say that they're the worst pairing.

OK fine, I was wrong about their age. SORRY. Let's move on. Bottom line and all that matters: Is Portland better than the Lakers? Do you think they'd beat LA in a 7-game series? Answer that question truthfully.

There is only one team that would 'scare' me and that's OKC and I've explained that already.

This year, yes, Portland would beat LA in a series. Before this year, no.
