They just said surgery isn't required on 670AM. Listed week-to-week.Dumb if he does so. He should get surgery, be out for the months, and come back strong.
Then again, he'll probably be rusty when it comes back.![]()

Luol Deng has a torn ligament in his non-shooting hand. Not sure how long he'll be out, but he might play through it, Kobe style.
Unless the Heat lose Bosh or Wade the bulls have no shot now![]()
That's not too bad then. Unfortunately, the Bulls already had a slim shot of beating the Heat, and with all these injuries, they're probably fucked. They just said surgery isn't required on 670AM. Listed week-to-week.
We get to see how a mere mortal handles Kobe's situation. Could be interesting.
Already dead.So what does playing outstanding defense on God and blocking his shot make a person?

So, we still lose? lolI'm usually the Debbie Downer Bulls fan, but I still feel pretty good about our chances. If I had a prediction right now (assuming everyone is full strength during playoffs), I'd say we lose in 7.
So, we still lose? lol

Bulls can easily beat the Heat this year. Heat are a freakishly hot and cold team. The Bulls caught them when LeBron couldn't miss and the Mavs got LeBron when he couldn't make a jumper. They could easily lose as well though, but they're on the same level of team especially if Rose can shoot in the playoffs this year.

Hence my 60/40 prediction. Boozer wasn't healthy last year and we have an actual SG now.
Boozer is now arguably the second best power forward in the East (Horford injured, Amar'e is playing terrible, and Josh Smith doesn't count). Not to mention that Wade injured Asik midway through the series when Asik was dominating.
Don't count on Boozer being healthy for the playoffs though.
Easily my ass. Bulls are still very offensively challenged, even worse then us at times.
"This time around, I’m familiar with it," Deng said. "I know how it feels pain-wise. Just trying to get it down to a certain level where I can play again. I’m really confident I will be out there hopefully soon."
Deng said he is confident he will have full range of motion once the pain subsides enough for him to test the wrist.
"I should," he said. "I don’t think I could damage it any further. It’s really about controlling the pain."
dont worry bulls fans , OKC got the title this year.

True, but all this year, when Rip has played, they've looked great. I don't know if you've seen all those games, considering most of them weren't on national TV.

Bulls currently #1 in ORating and #2 in DRating. They were 8th in ORating last year.
EDIT: More on the Deng Injury:

So I see on espn.com that Wizards-age has something to be happy about.
Speaking of OKC, what happened to Durant's MVP chances? It seems like every year we think it'll be him, but somebody else just steps up.
Hollinger title odds:
1. Bulls-27.4%
2. 76ers-16.4%
3. Heat-14.9%
4. Thunder-9.9%
5. Hawks-8.8%
6. Mavericks-5.0%
7. Grizzlies-3.8%
8. Nuggets-2.7%
9. Lakers-2.1%
10. Blazers-2.1%
Thad Young more likely to lead a team to a title than LeBron this year apparently, poor LeBron.
Don't try to make sense of Hollinger.Didn't the heat just beat the sixers by like 20, without Wade.
damnit mest you stole my line.

You expect his stats would be sophisticated enough to take care of match-up and actual team strengths in the playoffs, in a 7-game series?
He likely just added up the PER of all players and call it a ranking.
The projections are mostly based on point differential and the 2012 76ers are basically the best team ever at blowing out bad teams.

If OKC finishes with the best record in the West he has a good shot.
If they finish with the best record in the league? It's a lock. Doesn't even matter that his numbers are down a bit, it's his "turn." That's how the MVP race works.

It is?
I think it usually goes to the best player on the best team (team with the best record).
Not "turns".
In the NBA, if you wait for your "turn" you could be waiting a long time.
I think it usually goes to the best player on the best team (team with the best record).
How do you explain Nash's second MVP then? Or Kobe's for that matter.
USUALLY
Sometimes players have such statistically fantastic and genuinely important numbers on a team, that they'll get it anyway.
Bulls with Rip remind me a lot of the Pistons but with Derrick Rose instead Chauncy. The most important he brings is ball movement. I never realized how high his Baskeball IQ is. Damn I love good ball movement![]()
ESPN Most Dissappointing Eastern Conference Players said:John Krolik, Cavs The Blog: John Wall. He has superstar potential, but his jumper was absolutely terrible last season and he didn't appear to fix it this past summer. He's shooting 25.8 percent from 3-9 feet, 28.6 percent from 10-15 feet and 22 percent from 16-23 feet -- and he hasn't made a 3 all season. Yikes.

wow that's pure trash
had no idea he was that inept at shooting the damn ball
Hide the white women!Oh shit. You lit the DY Signal!
You know what's awesome is, he sucks at shooting around the rim too... he has like the lowest percentage there in the league for a guy playing starter minutes, at least that's what I recall.wow that's pure trash
