lol jk, everybody gets up to play Duke and then falls off a cliff the next game. Tenn will win by 20

:lol, the ACC's days of dominance are over. Y'all had to resort to bringing in Big East shameball teams to fill your ranks!

Louisville is good, but not good enough to stem the tide!

Naw, UNC will be back at full (ish?) strength next year and Duke won't be playing 6-8 dudes at center anymore.

We don't fall off, we just reload baby

And when the dust settles the story will be "35-1*" with the asterisk being they lost to the ONLY half decent team they played the entire season. They are good, and it doesn't diminish their accomplishment, which is difficult in any conference. Still, this was a top 15 team playing a top 100 schedule.

Completely agree.

Get 'em Cyclones. They took your hometown hero and set on the path to mediocrity. Get revengesis!

Let's GOOOOOO. UNC ended Fred Hoiberg's collegiate career in 1995. Soundly.

If Tennessee beats Mercer, the conference will be 7-0. Tennessee played a play in game remember

how sad is your town if the Sheetz gas station is "the best restaurant in town"

I will accept "best it's 3am and I'm drunk as fuck restaurant" though. I'm gonna have a spicy chicken sandwich with onion rings on it, cheese sticks, a slice of pizza, and curly fires.

Just imagining the storyline it would be if Kentucky and Florida met up in the championship game and in the fourth attempt we finally beat the Gators. I might cry. I'd film it so you guys could meme me.

Feel bad that WSU got screwed by the committee. They are every bit as good as their record and ranking.

I don't know if I can handle another Louisville/Kentucky tournament game. Can this young bunch quickly get over this huge win and win another huge game? We'll see.

Tennessee was the like 16th best team in the country according to Ken Pom at the end of the season (pre-tourney). They've been legit this entire time.

UK's win moved me up to second in the bracket group. Love it.

But I picked Louisville to win it all like a dummy. Hopefully UK can blow up my bracket next week.

Why wont anyone play Wichita State?
The same reason no one would play Boise State in Football. There is no upside to the big name team to play them. They won't make any more money and won't get any more prestige if they actually beat them. It's a lose/lose for everyone else.

It really is sad they got thrown in the hardest bracket in the entire tournament.

Another UK/UofL game? Oh shit. Board up the state, there's going to be meyhem all week.

Just saw that Wichita final. Bahaha.

Kentucky won last time they played lolsville, yeah?

Yeah, but that was in Lexington.... in December. It was so long ago that both teams are very much different. I wouldn't be surprised if either won it.

That being said, the game is in Indiana. I wouldn't be surprised if the stadium is half Red and half White.

Yep. A game where Randle did not play the second half due to cramps and Louisville still had Chane Behanan.

Louisville is much better than they were back then, but UK is also. Should be a great game.

Good chance the other teams will be Michigan and Tennesee, so no one will have a particularly long drive. But Louisville doesn't have enough fans in the entire country to overwhelm Kentucky in Indianapolis.

Aw man, that's great! I was getting sick of all the talk last year of the stadiums being empty. I bet that building will be PACKED.

EDIT. Hahahahaha. God, I both love and hate UK fans. http://35and1.com/

In 2005 we helped put 40,331 in the old RCA Dome for a second round game against Cincinnati. There shouldn't be an empty seat. It will be a fun environment.

I need ISU to come through.

This UNC team making a Sweet 16, while that Duke team lost in the first round would burn my soul.

Maybe even worse than 2009 (everybody and their mama in-law saw them winning the chip that year)

Ok, as much as I hate the thought of UNC getting much further, my morbid curiosity of if Sparty will roll over for them again has me piqued. I mean, surely not now, if you're going to snap the streak it has to be this year.

EDIT: LOL, look at Tennessee clown Mercer. You really sucked a fat ol dick this year K.

Tennessee at their best is extremely dangerous.

I picked them getting to the sweet 16 based off that, but now you've got to think they have a legit shot at Michigan too.

Naw that streak is forever.
