Where is POI...WHERE IS POI??!?!?!?

Is Superstore being burned off? I didn't even know it was airing tonight, and it seems to be in 2-episode chunks, or is that just the premiere?

(yes NBC and all that, but still)

They must be bringing back PoI in summer, that's the only slot left, unless they're saving it in case a show drops in the ratings so hard in the spring that it has to get pulled. Maybe CBS thought there would be more fall bombs and PoI would just take a spot in January, but there wasn't, so....

So Superstore's premiere makes no sense, and this is even including the fact it airs on NBC.

2 episodes this Monday, 1 online, then the next 7 air starting January 4th.

I know NBC is gonna NBC but this is like 30 Rock levels of NBC outstupiding itself.

The show itself is decent I think. It's basically just a big box store set workplace comedy. Really good chemistry from America Ferrera and Ben Feldman. Not everything lands but it's more like the sweet-ish kind of comedy than anything else. Definitely not a joke dispenser kind of show. Oh and Eliza Coupe is in the second episode so yeah do yourself a favour and maybe catch that one.

Also Lauren Ash is a national treasure.

WAT.

- Deadline: Fox “Cheated” ‘Bones’ Stars Out Of More Than $100M, New Profit-Participation Suit Claims.
Just days after EP Barry Josephson sued Fox over profit participation and sketchy accounting practices, Bones stars Emily Deschanel and David Boreanaz and EP Kathleen Reichs now are going after the broadcaster too for “tens of millions” they claim they are owed.
“When 20th TV finally did engage with Plaintiffs in the fifth and sixth seasons of the Series, it did so under the threat of cancelling the Series unless Plaintiffs accepted its non-negotiable license fee figure, and then concealed material information about the true value of that figure,”

[edit] how

[edit 2]
Such a weird week with some networks doing reruns with new eps

Well ABC ran out of Dancing With the Stars for the year. I don't know why Jane, Scorpion and NCIS the Second are on hiatus already, though.

BTW, NBC was pre-empted by the most embarrassing football game in recent history in the Cleveland and baltimore markets last night, so those numbers are a little inflated.

Crazy Ex-Girlfriend ticked up, strange to see. The season extension is apparantly a good signal for the audience.

Great Holiday Baking Show ep 1 was great, though more so cause Mary Berry (Britsh) against the Americans way of speaking (the Watah part lol) (also they really leave Santa Biscuits and Sherry over there instead of Cookies and Milk? what).

Im glad its a special, I dont know how it would last if it was a full length series.
[Brandy Snaps look disgusting]

Those demographics, I guess Im in the +50yr old crowd for show tastes.

Me too :( I will say it was much more enjoyable than the version CBS tried a few years back with Paul Hollywood and Jeff Foxworthy.

Just sucks because with these terrible ratings I'm guessing a full season of "regular" baking will never be greenlit in America again.

I'll be honest, I have no idea why The Great British Bakeoff is one of the most popular shows on UK TV.

GBBO is genuinely one of the best shows available, it is unabashedly nice and free from cynicism. It's that happy place your mind goes to whenever that one family member who is a bit of a prick starts going on about that thing you don't like, but in TV format.

Countryfile of cooking.
