By a huge margin, yes. Japanese immigration to Brazil is huge (and the other way around too). We're practically sister nations.

The opening ceremony even had a whole segment dedicated to Japanese immigrants.

Hmmm may have to do some research on this. Sounds like an interesting case study.

According to wiki, 1.6 million Brazilians of Japanese descent. US is presumably second with 1.3 million. The latter explicitly states that it includes partial ancestry. I'm assuming the former does as well.
