It's actually a pretty good question: How far ahead was this ad planned, and did Budweiser know then it would be seen in the light it will now be seen in?

This ad has likely been in the works for close to a year, this wasn't whipped up in light of recent events. It's silly/sad that what was initially conceived as a mainstream ad about the American dream is controversial in today's political climate.
