Excited for the season 4 announcements for Street Fighter 6. I mean, Capcom hasn't stated they'll show a trailer at SGF, but they've done it for the past two years, so I'm not expecting any different.

Tifa for sure!

I thought they'd give a spotlight to indie games no matter who makes them, then I realized #17's spelled India and not Indie. Shame. :lollipop_crying:

Am I weird for not liking all the women and Black and LGBT stuff being broken out into it's own catagory? Like, if a game is good, it doesn't matter to me who makes it, I'll buy it.

I've never bought a cake from a bakery just because it was "women-led," I bought because she makes some damn good cakes!

It's racism cranked up to max: putting everyone on their own little box all classified by gender and race.

Way too much, when it fragments up like this it's easy for some cool looking games to get lost in some of these smaller shows. Like a lot of these streams will be fully junk, but there's always at least a couple cool games in The Mix, Wholesome Games, Day of the Devs, PC Gaming Show... but who has time to watch all this? Most people will just be interested in the main shows, which would be Sony State of Play, Summer Games Fest Stream proper, and Xbox Showcase.

Also always liked that Nintendo waits a week to avoid this mess and get the next week to themselves, lol.

It's like the "Women Led Games" and the "Pride Parade" had a baby. Somehow.

There are so many odd ones on that list.

Frosty game fest? Is this just games that have a winter vibe?

I feel really old and out of touch reading that list.

The fest is for video games made in Australia and New Zealand

Which is admittedly not the first thing 'Frosty' makes me think of lol

They are always talking about wanting equality yet they are the ones who always differentiate people based on skin colour, sex, etc. Total insanity.

I believe that either in SGF or TGA the new Star Wars Jedi game will be announced. Fallen Order was 2019, Survivor was 2023. 2027 lines up for the general window, which means we should get at least a teaser or trailer sometime this year.

So I think SGF starts the clock of when we'll get the announcement. If not this week then I think it'll be a reveal at TGA.

Woke glorification still hasn't gone out of style for these event organizers, huh? I wonder, if stuff like this were just optional booths or side stages at E3, how many people would actually be interested in "Black Voices in Gaming" or "Women-Led Games."

Is there an industry that cares more about identity politics than the gaming industry? Not even Hollywood is this fucking bad. This shit is beyond insufferable.

I'll watch the Showcase and the State of Play and check for any trailers from the PC gaming one, thanks for the graphic :]

e: oh, I didn't realize The Mix is for indie games. I guess I'll take a peek later to see if anything good was shown

I won't lie of the known stuff, Gears of War is going to be so exciting! No Rod Turd Ferguson means a chance for gears to be amazing again.

E3 was replaced by this fucking shit?
E3 destroyed itself.

I personally dont really care, as long as exciting game get announced it make zero difference at what showcase they announce it.

At end of the days its the games I'm excited about not the actual showcase.
