Not sure who that is but it has me kind of excited.

Their intrigue will probably vanish when they hear about the licensing costs.

No licensing costs. The point of the Original Generation(s) series is that it uses original characters/mechs, as opposed to licensed ones.

Twitter is blocked at work. What does the tweet say?

There could potentially be licensing costs. Bandai Entertainment has the rights to the SRW OG anime and I'm sure JAM Project would like some money for their music if it came out in North America.

Tweet says - Got a rep from a certain publisher intrigued enough by SRW OG PS3 to want to inquire with Namco-Bandai. Doing my civic duty.

I wouldn't get my hopes high. If it's anything like the last bunch of "1st trailers" for Banpresto's games, it probably will just be a CG trailer with no gameplay.

The 2d/3d animations remind me of Disgaea 4 animations but obviously much nicer looking. Looks good. I want to see that video in higher res, larger size; at that size/res it basically looks like the PS2 OGs :P

someone for the love of god please make gifs!!!

For all the OG fans, does anyone know why they didn't do Ingram's subplot with Astragant from Alpha Gaiden, despite covering Alpha Gaiden in OG2/OGG? Seems odd since it's an important part of the OG plot, since it's necessary for Cobray's plot in OG4, and since it would have just been a sick mech to do with modern era sprites.

Or maybe they can put it somewhere in this game?

Anime and game licenses are usually not connected, same with toys and other merchandising. Any license fees would be part of bringing it over no matter what, and this is far more feasible than any regular SRW

Astraganat doesn't exist in the OG universe as evidence by Ingram piloting the R-Gun Rivale in OG1 instead of it.

The current theory some folks are talking about is that we'll get the actual Cobray in the OG universe. He's a Time Diver so it's a possibility. It wouldn't be unheard of as Fighter Roar/Dark Brain are from their respective game universes and so is Gilliam.

The question then becomes, do they leave out the Cobray storyline or do they do it by resetting Cobray when he enters the OG universe.

Whatever they do, I hope they won't "reset" him, even as they may go on to have him play a different role. Half of the fun of seeing Ingram freak out from Gilliam's presence in OG1 was because those two (and the seasoned player) knew just what kind of "history" there was for Gilliam. Why deprive Cobray of something similar?

FFFFFFFFFFFFFF.... oh wait

I don't really have a problem with that. Gives me time to finish up BRS and Xillia.

Wow... from September to TBD? I wonder how's this going to affect the release of SRWZ2-2 on PSP...

Maybe they'll release SRWZ2-2 as originally scheduled, and push this to next year...

Not too upset about this to be honest. My September gaming purchases are approaching on obscene levels thanks to the X edition of Xillia, Team Ico pack, RE HD selection, dark souls and others.

Argh, talk about kick in the nuts. Though, I guess it'll work to our favor in the end. I don't want another ACE:R fiasco

So that you can buy it and add another to your backlog?

thisisgaf.jpg? Who here doesn't buy games that inevitably get added to their backlog with the hope that one day when retirement comes around, it will be gaming 24/7 until the grave?

When was Z2-2 originally scheduled to come out?
