I don't think there will be much of a downgrade on this, if at all. It didn't blow me away visually like the original WD trailer did. The scale was more impressive than the visuals.

Optimisation is performed in the final phase of development. Whilst they're still building the game, there'll be all kinds of compromises made to get it running in playable form.

those single strap bags are extremely stupid. i mean is that supposed to make it look "futuristic" or some bs?! nobody would EVER past present or future use a bag like that for a tactical operation, ESPECIALLY if they're carrying a radio and/or other heavy equipment. makes me think the game is going to be a big old cheese fest with graphics similar to The Last of Us to capatlize on it's success. other than that the game looks pretty cool.

Imo only the backpacks and the beany make this look somewhat next gen, the rest could be an uprezed PS3 game. :/

You may want to load up your PS4 games again and check for shadow bias and resolution stepping again. It is quite obvious in a number of games actually....

This is such an obvious Bullshot, it's really blatant, i really dislike such methods, it only decreasing the hype like their product doesn't look good on it's own.

I know my rather blunt comment has received a lot of negativity but let's be honest, there is nothing particularly impressive. Shadow resolution looks terrible, polygons look basic, textures look so and so and everything just looks flat.
The initial reveal looked considerably better. If you all think the screenshots posted in the OP looks good, then I want some of that kool aid.

Downsampling. The colours/contrast seen to have changed compared to the reveal footage (and indeed compared to the first three screens in this thread), so it looks like these could have been through Photoshop. They're not blatantly bullshotty like those weird Watch Dogs ones - those were more like concept art. These look like screen captures, downsampled from very high res and with some basic adjustments to levels and grain, which suggests a small amount of Photoshop work. The game engine could well be able to do that itself though, so they might be direct captures with some in-engine tweaks.

Yeah, I don't expect it to look anything like that (better to keep expectations low so if it does turn out good it'll be much more satisfying visually) - I just can't wait to see what the gameplay is like and just walking around in that city...hopefully even a canadian city like toronto..to see it all messed up would be neat
