Also, do these still use AA batteries? Was thinking of getting one for my PC since I'm sick of dicking around with DS4Windows and Steam battling for control of my Dualshock 4, but I really hate replacing AAs. I just want to charge via USB.

Get yourself some good rechargeable AA's. I use Panasonic Eneloops myself. They last a couple of weeks per charge.

the Xbox 1S use plastic dotted grip,just like the DS4.

the Forza 6/Lunar White/Tech they use rubberized grip
the Elite has bigger rubberized grip.

That control tech seems like an OK replacement of the Lunar White. IMHO that's still the best controller design, it's a shame none of the ones that come close have the same rubberized grip it had.

Yes, using Xbox Design Labs. They still put out designs like these because the customize your own is limited to solid colors of certain components.

Rubber grip is fantastic on my Forza 6 controller. My Xbox One S does not have this, only a slightly grainier plastic feel on the back, better than the smooth plastic before it, but not a game changer.
