Pretty incredible to be adding genuinely new content to a 10+ year old game. The support for MCC in these recent years has been a breath of fresh air to an otherwise mediocre generation for Halo games.

Lets see if they don't mess this up. These guys are by far the worst developers I've seen in a long time.

Should be focusing on infinite, considering how much help they need on fixing that mess.

343 completely botched MCC and let it sit broken for 4 years. I have a lot of misgivings about the studio's management. There are plenty of passionate fans at the studio but the studio's priorities are a mess. They are seemingly more concerned with selling toys and books than they are serving as a caretaker for the franchise. Both Halo 4 and 5 were complete duds on the gameplay front and they drifted so far from the older games' writing that it doesn't resemble Halo anymore. That said, the small skeleton team they have working on MCC has seemingly been fantastic.

It is very clear to me that the MCC team loves and understands Halo. They even went so far as to hire arguably the most knowledgable Halo modder out there to work on the game. The updates over the past two years have been spectacular, some QA bumps aside. If they had more funding and headcount I would imagine those QA issue wouldn't exist either. They have done a lot to make sure MCC is the ultimate collection of Halo games. There are still some issues, particularly with 1 and 2 because they are based on the old PC ports and not the original xbox code, but they have really done a lot to make things right. Major respect to the MCC team.

Won't ever happen. Those stages in CE game would be so ridiculously cramped that it would be comedic (not to mention unbalanced)
A girl can dream. I don't see how Halo 1 would be more cramped than any of the games that do allow 4 player coop. Not sure how it would be unbalanced either, but I guess I wouldn't know. I just know what I want.

They've really turned MCC around the past year or so. I play it regularly with a group of old roommates and we remember when the game launched and we had to constantly back out of matchmaking or wait 5 minutes to get into a match.

But it works flawlessly now. And all the new content helps to freshen the games up and keep them in our rotation.

I hope they continue adding to it in the future and use it as a sort of platform for gathering the older Halos compared to new releases. (Like eventually adding Halo 5 when Infinite releases, and etc for the next release)
