I'm looking for more games like Toy Story 2 (N64/DC/PS1) and Deadly Creatures (Wii) that let you freely explore everyday environments that look huge due to your character being small in size.
I just love the detail and scope of a living room when it looks as big as a stadium.
Not exactly the same but i remember in Dungeon Keeper you could posses the creatures. You went from a gods eye view to the point of view of the particular creature you possess.
the sense of scale in that first game is great. you start off rolling up paper clips and push pins and erasers and slowly the more stuff you get the larger you grow and the larger items you can pick up. at first a pencil is too large.
n-Space's Geist lets you control stuff (pretty much like Shiny's Messiah) so if the container is small enough you will see the world from that perspective.
There's a very short segment in Prey (the original) that lets you do this. It's pretty amazing, but again, very short. I guess the new Prey lets you experience some moments as small objects, like a coffee mug.
Tons of GMod TTT maps share the theme of playing as miniatures, if you want something multiplayer.
