So I wake up yesterday, and my middle toe feels like it broken, wtf? I didn't injure it, so off to the urgent care center and a 4 hour wait to see a doctor.
I bring along my 3ds and Mario to kill the time. After a while, at certain intense points, I notice my toes begin curling in my sandals as my left middle toe starts to throb. So, I put the 3ds away...
Anyway, I'm talking to the doctor and she says it is tendinitis, acute inflammation of the tendon and impingement on the nerve. One of the questions she asks is if I'm under any unusual stress, and I say no except...I've been playing 3d Mario which causes involuntary foot clenching.
No more awesome Mario platformers for me. :-(
