This leak is mainly about 3DS info.We have Xenoblade Chronicles on the New 3DS. It's not like it has greater than or equal to the Wii U. Though it certainly can be, as others have pointed out, the Wii U is not exactly a powerhouse.
This makes the most sense.
Well if a console version was coming I'd assume that the Wii U would get a price drop instead of the 3DS. Though I don't know how they have done it historically.
Cadillac is the codename for the Style Savvy game.No Style Savvy 3? I'm disappointed ...
Place the bets on the mainline sonic game as well as much as you don't want it.
As a person who bought a launch Wii U, I say who cares. I rather have a strong Nintendo that can consistently make games for the platform it can support. It has but I just think a 4 year lifecycle for Wii U burns every Wii U adopter who was expecting at least 5 years of full support just like every Nintendo console before it. If they release the handheld this year and the console in 2017 that wouldn't be an issue
This is actually mod verified?
woah

Torte city could be the name of a f-Zero track.
Right? RIGHT?

I currently doubt it. They've done enough Gen 1 pandering with X/Y & the R/B/Y Virtual Console releases. The Pokémon Company has been teasing Z too much for them not to follow through on it. And with the 3DS on its way out, now's their last chance.Still expecting a gen 1 remake (or at least quasi remake) with a major focus on the original 151. The push has been too strong in that direction this year for them to merely release a Pokemon Z, or a new gen.
So a price cut on the 3DS around the time NX launches would imply that the NX is a handheld, right?

While it does indicate that the 3DS will see a successor in the near future (relative to the rumored time of the price cut), I'm not sure if it means for sure that the NX device coming out during the holidays is the handheld. If what Trev's source is saying is true, we'd have more reason to believe that the NX Console will be out the door first (at least in North America).price drop on the 3ds? interesting.

It probably means the Christmas season.By "fall-holiday", do they mean fall leading up to Christmas? Meaning DQ8 would be hitting this year as well? Or do they consider Jan-Feb-Mar as part of the holiday/winter season?

Well damn, I may be on the money. My source agrees with you on that.
I want to know what the Wii U timeline looks like.
My source agrees with you on that.
And a new handheld potentially coming not too long afterwards. The prospect of a new Nintendo console coming out this year makes me feel some type of way.
Makes sense. The 3DS still has some life left in it, while the same cannot be said for WiiU.My source agrees with you on that.

Yes.
YES.
I want to know what the Wii U timeline looks like.
Huh, so it's still coming as scheduled. Wonder when we'll see another preview.
Spring-Early Summer
Metroid Prime: Federation Force
Cadillac was apparently confirmed by another GAF insider to be Style Savvy. So if I had to guess, I'd say that Caviar F is Rhythm Heaven Plus.
Either way, there's really only 4 major new games from Nintendo themselves (3 if you discount Game Freak). The rest of this list is mainly late localizations & third party games picking up the slack. Clearly Nintendo's ramping up for the NX Platform.
Twilight Princess HD, Pokken, Starfox Zero, Paper Mario and #FE at some point...before NX.I honestly don't care about the 3DS at this point and the irony is that it's the system that is getting supported the most from Nintendo this year... What about Wii U, man???? Will I have to keep playing nothing but Splatoon until NX comes out????
Pretty underwhelming

Just a note to people, and especially blogs, reading this: when we "verify" sources, what we do is get a name to the source and verify that they are in a position that could plausibly know the things that they say they know. We do not verify what they're claiming, just that they are theoretically in a place to be claiming the things they are.
