I'm doing the exact same. I love the pretty blue shade and it's so cute and simple.

I have a few cover plates but like most, I haven't changed my triforce cover plate ever since I removed the groundon one. I like that it's subtle and simple but it's as well made as the others, I still like the design.

My problem with cover plates is that ever since I bought the wood plates, I don't want to switch them out anymore. It just feels so nice. The wood texture is so comfy.

I have dozens of them but kept wood on for ages... until I got the Majora's Mask ones. They haven't come off since.

Heh. I found the wooden surface bothersome to hold, so I replaced the bottom plate with the original black plastic one.

I basically killed my L button and the spring went flying dunno where so I'm in the need to a new one.....

I looked for a replacement on eBay but with no luck, if anybody here knows the size of the spring or where I can find a replacement (It doesn't matter if it's the whole button with the spring) please let me know!

Another new faceplate for my 3DS, looks like it will be EU exclusive as it is numbered as plate 27 which means Japan won't be getting it as they have already had a plate 27. Not sure about USA yet as i don't think they have that many plates announced so far.

This one is a matte plate the colours really do pop on the matte ones.

Scour eBay for broken old New 3DSes/replacement bodies. Or just buy more new New 3DSes! (My AC plates are just kinda laying around on my desk now, I want more plates so I should probably think about a place to store them too)

Play-Asia tends to be pretty good in carrying stock as well. I had no trouble getting plates with the huge number of import sites.

Only 3 of them interested me in this newest batch, the hanafuda one is stunning and i also like the 3D mario one and the mario maker one. That's 3 more to the collection, makes it upto 24 faceplates & countng.

pretty happy how my N3DS XL is now. I've set it to boot straight into the homebrew menu, which acts a full home menu replacement (hold L whilst booting to load the standard menu). Using a theme the guy behind the menu designed, altered a bit.

Yodobashi has one and probably some other japanese stores. Amiami has it but it says pre-order closed (I'm not sure if it's sold out or they haven't opened it yet), I'm not sure about the other stores.
