Oh well, I was one of the first to see this thread but I only got 1200 points because I was afraid to get more :(
I bought Jade Empire with the points, so it's still cool :)
 
I got drunk last night and this morning I noticed I had 2800 extra MS points. I used this I think?

Now what do I spend it on?

I don't think I have enough hard drive space. Is it possible to download the game to an external usb hardrive and play off that?

Not as long as some of you guys, but I got what I wanted (Forza pass) and bailed out.

And mad props to OP, he could've kept it to himself and farmed practically unlimited number of codes, but he didn't.

Yes, that's what I'm doing with the same game right now. It's a blast, especially because I can't play the original on Windows 7. 60FPS, 720P 1080P and the best game Ubisoft ever made for only 800 points.
 
I came to this thread when it first started, saw all the sarcastic responses and decided to bail. I should have believed the OP! Ah well. :(

That's exactly what the 'Get another e-mail address.(This will expire.)' option was for. Interestingly, I also tried using mailinator to speed up the process but it wasn't returning any emails.

lol, I did the same. Even had the page open in another tab and closed it without looking. Oh well. Congratulations to the people that did get stuff, seems pretty awesome.

In hindsight, I think the g-mail trick would have given faster results in comparison to the 10 minute mail. Rather than generate a new e-mail address you could use an online g-mail trick generator to create a mass amount of g-mail duplicates in one fell swoop.

I used the 10 minute mail trick for this event and while I benefitted off of that, I could have gotten even more free money the other way.

I used my gmail as well as family and uni addresses. Gmail ignores preiods so:

sample@gmail.com
s.ample@gmail.com
s.a.m.ple@gmail.com
sam.ple@gmail.com
sam.p.le@gmail.com

are all the same but the t-mobile saw them as different.

When I got to 5000 I decided to stop but something in me wanted more points to I kept going all the way up to 8400. I could have probably reached 10000 had I not taken a break.

At first I thought that (but I did it anyway =/ )but then I learned that in promotions like this the company buys x amount of the codes, so MS has already had it's money and as it's points based the devs of the games I bought get money. It's like a Robin Hood thing.

At least that is how I justify it to myself =/

I got 4000 points the 10 minute mail way, which is good enough to me. I recently got two 4000 point cards off ebay's deal of the day a few weeks ago too. I have so many points that I don't know what to buy.

I mean I did manage to snag 3200 points, but I feel I could have gotten at least double that amount through the g-mail email manipulations. It's less tedious.
