Figured I was already too late, but when I checked Sears' site and saw the price was still there, I just had to try! My boys would go crazy for this at xmas. Been wanting to buy them one, but was waiting till next year and hopefully at a lower price. Well, it ain't getting lower than that!
Called up the frst Walmart and they didnt have it. Looked online and all other nearby stores showed out of stock too.... Decided to call the next one anyway and he said they had one in stock! Asked if he'd hold it and I would be there in 20.
Got there and when I first got inside, the page from Sears wasnt pulling up on my phone. Walked back toward the front , tried a few more times, and it was back. Schoo.... walk to electronics and a couple of young dudes come to the register. Told them I was the guy who had called about the bundle and one of them pulled out the bundle. Showed him the price on my phone and he was amazed. He called for a manger and this older lady showed up. Showed it to her and she said wow, but continued on with the authorization. Went ahead and picked up the protection plan, but sounds like that's junk. It was only $4 though. After getting this amazing deal, I'll live if that plan isn't any good, lol.
Got home and after kids went to bed, I stared opening it up and making sure everything is there and get all of the current updates installed and get it ready for them for xmas morning. Go to sync the gamepad and I can't tap on the playing card symbols and I then notice the stylus wasnt in the pad. Couldnt find it in the box either. Guess I either got a defective one or someone returned that bundle with a swapped out gamepad. Did try the unpug battery trick.
Since they dont have anymore of tgat bundle, I wonder if Walmart will just let me swap it out with a different bundle, like 3D World's. I shouldnt get any shit from them when they see my $60 receipt, right?? I wouldn't think so since the product was bought from their store.
What does anyone else think?

This thread was killing me so after two failures and a nap, I just went to another Walmart 15 minutes from my house. Sure enough, I got myself a $60 Wii U! Fuuuuck yeah!! Deal still shows up on mobile, all hope is not lost everyone.
The manager or whatever she was was VERY hesitant to price match. The guy that was price matching logged onto Sears and everything and the fact that is said "Sold out online pick up in store" or whatever actually seemed to help me. But my gah, after she said to price match it she then goes "What is the GB!?" I was like this bundle is only for the Deluxe, so it is 32 gb. About 5 tense minutes went on and finally they just price matched it.
Now to find out how the hell to transfer my data from my destroyed 8gb onto my new deluxe...

Lady "talked to a manager" and said "No, can't match that. No, we can't match that, that's too high. No, that's $150, no. No."
While not verbatim, she said no a lot.
I probably could have contested it but it's 11 PM and I already have a Wii U and 3 3DSs so I figured I could just live without it.

If I knew it was guaranteed to work, I'd be on an hour and a half long bus ride to Walmart by now. A cab trip would cost as much as the Wii U itself, one way.

Wait, will Sears actually honor the price if you walk in? I just remembered we have one in town.
Worth a shot. If I recall correctly, the mobile version of the Wii U search lets you click on the Wii U and it says check it in stores as its "coming soon" to mobile. So maybe you could talk your way into them honoring it

Tried 3 stores and no luck I got close with the last one though... I asked for the Wii U and the guy brought them up for me for some reason, and when we made it to the cash register I asked if they price match and showed her the site and as it happens she said they did! But then immediately after the guy who brought em up for us chimed in and said we were like the 8th people who tried this tonight and that it wasn't legitimate. :'(

Thanks, thats what figure too. It was a transaction dobe at their store. I guess my main concern is when I take it back in the am, since that ws the last of that bundle, I wonder if they'll let me grab one of tge other bundles, their normal price in store are all the same.
Yeah agreed, if it was just the stylus, I wouldn't care. The touchscreen itself is not responding to any input. Hit sync on wii u and on the gamepad, so I'm pretty sure Ive done everything I can/supposed to do.
I'm still seeing them when I search on the site. (At least for now)

I wouldn't be surprised that the Walmart I checked tonight didn't have any Nintendo consoles because of this price match.
I would assume anybody that knows about it is telling people and this news is spreading fast.

I really wanted to get one. I can't buy a full priced Wii U at the moment since I just recently bought a PS4.Well, I went to Walmart(s) again. Went to a 3rd one that was further out. Dude was privy because some lady came in earlier trying to get a WiiU (Thanks a lot). Went back to the other two walmarts since it was night shift. One closed Electronics at 11. Went back to another and the lady was nice and would totally have hooked me up, but they were still out of blue/black (went earlier today when this thread was only a page long). None being trucked in either. She also told me of the WiiU at 60, but they didn't have the right bundle. She was adamant about it having to be the specific SKU.

I wonder why. When I searched "wii u" on their site, I clicked the consoles and it was the first result. And when I search "3ds xl" the $59.99 version is first.
I wish I could attempt to do this in a store but I'm unable to. I cant afford a full price Wii U either due to having to take 3 more credits in school

After being interrogated by the manager... this is how I felt walking out of walmart with my brand new Super Mario World 3d Wii U console:

Not sure if you saw my previous post but I got mine in SoCal, Stevenson Ranch. Some supervisor/manager swore that it would be the last one sold in the store at that price. However we do have another one nearby in Santa Clarita.
