Went to three different Walmarts in northern NJ and no luck. Two were out of stock of the Blue/Black 3DSXL so I tried to price match different color models but predictably had no luck with that.

One store had it in stock but the cashier asked her manager who went batshit on me (practically yelling) that there's no way she'd ever match it when the price difference is that massive. And saying that I'm the second person in the last hour that she rejected for this. I tried arguing with her for like two minutes then she said something like "Use common sense, go bother another Walmart" and walked off lol.

Might try a different Walmart in the morning but it's probably not worth it.

We have one Kmart around here that is 24 hours and they got cleaned out at $59.99 for the Wii U and 3DS XL. I'm going to the regular hours Kmart at 8am to try my luck.

I have no problem with being shot down on a price match, but getting yelled at by the manager is ridiculous. I would have gotten the managers name, and the names of the employees who witnessed the incident.

Nah, she was rude but I found it more funny than anything. First time anything like that has happened to me. I expected to get shot down anyway so I'm not too upset.

You guys only had to save the html and uploaded to Dropbox with the modified price.
My friend did it with Amazon, but instead of 60$, he modified to 150$ (I guess he didn't want to abuse too much).

If you go into a store deliberately trying to run a scam by exploiting a policy, then get shut down and proceed to try to take action that could effect someone's job, I really don't have the words to describe how big of a piece of shit you are. They only PM big retailers, but not Sears. I tried.

I've read about some success stories at Best Buy. I think Walmart is just generally the easiest to do it with, Best Buy people may be more likely to know what's up

According to my sister, In her search for a Wii U bundle, she found that Every Wal-Mart in my city completely sold out of the it yesterday within a hour and a half of me getting one( Rochester NY). So I'm assuming they all honored the price match, which is pretty stunning to me.

Edit: Shes gonna try Target in the morning, she talked to somebody there and they said they DO price match sears.

I understand that, but the manager of all people shouldn't be treating customers by yelling at them, no matter what the situation is.

That's the general rule of thumb for business. Always treat the customer with respect.
