Reinstall of course didn't do anything.
Loudninja said:For what its worth,Rockstar knows about the problem already.
Azrael said:Hell, they probably knew about it before it shipped.
Marty Chinn said:Where did you read that Rockstar knows about it? I wanna follow that discussion.
Just got off the phone with tech support the rockstar tech guy said that they are looking at the image that was sent out for the ps3 disc and they'll post onto the official rockstar forums when a fix comes up, which he said would hopefully be soon. So unless someone else has a fix we just gotta wait it out
Loudninja said:SO hopefully very soon.

Marty Chinn said:Do you have a link to the official forums? I can't find it on rockstargames.com
Azrael said:I didn't ready anything. I was just speculating. Publishers ship out high-profile games that are bug ridden all the time. A lower profile title wouldn't get past QA with the issues GTA 4 is having, but games like Madden and GTA always come out with issues.
HaloFans said:That would seem strange if the problem were isolated as a fuck up on the disk and correctable as a patch.
Yoboman said:The fact that problems like this are occurring with a casual game like GTA is just no good. A patch is not good enough if this is widespread
mr_bishiuk said:If its a batch of discs shouldn't all the people effected be in one geographical area or perhaps ordered from a particular retailer?

Figured I'd take it out of the main thread and make this support thread about it.
