This thread is one of the most cringe worthy backfires I've seen on gaf. It's just completely hilarious and hard to endure because I know OP felt shitty at the reaction it got. He was expecting people to feel what he felt about the song + story and be moved, but gamers (or maybe just gaf) are a cynical bunch and we feel cornered/somewhat annoyed when someone tells us to do something in this case listen to a song. (Even if there was no song people would still make up puns about the story for the lulz and I love that about gaf I don't have a problem with it)
But anyway what makes this even more cringe worthy/funny to me is now that song is ruined forever for OP. He loved it and it brought him some kind of fulfillment but now every time he listens to it he's going to remember this thread and the backfire.
