A former client just "liked" a porn video on Facebook

Why would someone join a networking site just to have all their personal information shared with employers and close relatives?

I think they joined to share info with their friends, not their employers in particular.

EDIT: Oh never mind. I read the OP incorrectly.

Perhaps it was a "work" account, and he has a different one?

True story, I was watching something on one of the flash sites and the PC had a few hiccups or something, so I moved the mouse and did some clicks. When the hiccups stop, I'm greeted with a 'share on Facebook' popup of the video.

Thankfully, worst thing I would have gotten would be jokes from classmates and people I know and nothing more, but up to this day, I haven't even found a 'share' button on that site or how the fuck did I ever get that 'share popup' on the damn page, haha.

This is why I use a different browser for porn.
After the incident written above, I became paranoid and started using Safari for this, hahaha.

Facebook = friends, family
LinkedIn = work people

Then use both basically as address books to contact people. Don't use the services to post your thoughts or anything.

Being aware and having it on display for all to see are two different things.

Once in college, my roommates and I (there were 8 of us), decided to have a "porn watching party" in our suite....with the door wide open. Anyone passing by could come on in and watch with us. Other guys on our floor popped in, but none of the girls wanted to join us. lol

To you, maybe.

Most girls I've known over the years were/are weired out by it to some extent - to what degree the hypocrisy, I can't say for sure, but it's almost never "Oh, it's just porn."
How odd I don't see what's to be afraid of really.

what's the most heavy user of the 'like' options for streaming porn? I need a quick prank site for my friends computers.

I have a transgender friend who posts homosexual hardcore porn all the time, I scroll down my feed and BAM there is some guys packing fudge.

There was a video like this going around my group of facebook friends a little while ago. Basically if you just click to view the video, it automatically posts it on your profile and gives it a like. I think it a sort spam crap from facebook.

look at ronito side stepping the real questions with this thread

1.where's the summer confessional?
2.where's ya god damn cat av

That's why I use Firefox for regular browsing and Chrome for... everything else. None of my social media accounts are even bookmarked on Chrome.

Works a little differently when you're a guy and you're having female friends over... Most girls are not understanding, to put it lightly.
Eh, I've had girlfriends find my "stache" numerous times. Never amounted to anything other than "eh" or "let's watch this one"

They can accept that people watch porn sometimes, or they can GTFO of my apartment. No room for prudes, I say!

How do you turn off that facebook integration or whatever it's called? Not just talking about pr0n sites, but half the places I go it has my picture pop up and a post to facebook box checked

Scarlett Johannson dumped JGL just because of this, pretty funny.

Took me a couple of times reading over this to figure out that you meant "stash."

Was going to say, what's wrong with girls finding out that you have a 'stache (that is, a moustache)

Could you get fired over something such as this?

Has there been anyone who has been fired over something such as this?

I know there have been cases in social media where people have made comments such as talking badly about their boss, racism, homophobia and whatnot, and then have been fired. Just wondering if it applies to this.

And no, I am not comparing porn to any of those things I mentioned, merely asking a question. Not everyone is as open-minded . There are people who categorise porn in the same shelf as Hitler.

Are you saying that some people fap to pictures of Hitler? I hope you aren't saying that.

So um Ronito, my man you gonna post the video or what? I want to see what you saw.(for science you know) If you cant link, any details like the actress?

OP's person-in-question almost certainly fell victim to a Facebook spam virus.

I don't know the exact details of how it works, but it has to do with tricking the user into copy-pasting a "token" (my technical knowledge fails me completely here... It's like a cookie but not?) into a third-party website that then uses said token to open up your FB page behind-the-scenes and spam the porn/gore/horrible video on your Facebook wall.

And of course older users don't know how to remove things from their wall, hence why it stays up.

But seriously what ancient porn site was he using? All the best ones don't even have a FB link so you'd never be in jeopardy of this nonsense. But beyond it all people really need to get off their high horses on the issue of porn. The numbers don't lie, tons of people PAY for porn so you could imagine the number that watches for free. People like to act like they don't watch it but many do. There is nothing to be ashamed of. Sex is awesome. And sometimes you want to experience things you never could in real life. It's just another form of escapism in many respects as well.

You and me both, girl. I really don't get it.

Eh, I've had girlfriends find my "stache" numerous times. Never amounted to anything other than "eh" or "let's watch this one"
I want your girlfriends.

That's all well and good, but getting the dick wet comes first. I'm not going to kick some chick out just because she is turned off by porn.

WOW SPOILERS

It boggles my mind. I know most guys (even mine, gasp!) watch porn. I have watched my fair share as well so what do I have to be upset about? I also find it strange when people try to "catch" their mate masturbating. I make sure to be the opposite of sneaky when my husband might be doing something. If I come home early I'm nice and loud and take a long time to unlock the door. Haha

My friend one time confided in me that she was going to confront her husband about porn/masturbating. I tried multiple times to explain to her that this was a bad idea and that all guys do it. It was especially strange because she admitted that they were still having sex multiple times a day (so I was really unsure what she had to be worried about). She could tell each time he did it because she put their lube on a certain mark in their closet and was looking through his phone history. Anyway, she ended up telling him he was not allowed to anymore and he agreed but continued to do it. It was weird and they had talks every few weeks with her demanding that he stop. After a few months I just told her I couldn't hear about it anymore because it was such a non-issue.

Anyway, on topic... Hopefully the guy was just hacked. You'd think he would make a post about it if he was, however. I've had some people like/post some pretty nasty things before and I find it strange. Unless you have zero work friends and zero minors as friends it seems really weird to want to publicly post something like that. Also, if I didn't work from home and I saw that bullish at work, I'd be pretty pissed at the posting friend.
