Holy hell... why did it take so long for me to find this? Works great on my EVO.... mods should change the title. This should work on all smartphone, not just iPhone.

Make a folder for gaf - then it's two clicks. That's what I've done - I've got a main page, subscribed threads, gaming, and OT link

Any way to fix the scroll to end of thread bug on larger screens? If I click that on my milestone I get empty space under the end of the thread but scrolling fixes it and snaps it back to the bottom of the screen. I can post a screenshot if needed.

Click "View Forum." It'll jump between forums with a prompt.

The online board used to be on the front page. Something must have changed with gaf when they moved those topics over. If you look in your web app settings it is still on the set order list.

Sweet jesus. Why did I only just now discover this. Navigating GAF via the standard page layout has been such a tremendous pain in the ass. This will make browsing GAF on the train far and far easier and way more pleasant.

Probably the font. Some font faces don't have certain styles. Like OS X's default font "Lucida Grande" doesn't have italics. Whatever font the browser on your WebOS device uses probably doesn't have it either. If you can change the font, try it.

A super small bug: if one's user name is a substring of someone else's user name, the post appears in green.

I believe there was a regular iPhone app that got rejected. If someone has the source and wants to help me clean/test it, I'll submit it to the store under my dev account. It would be free and have no ads. Of course, the only benefit to the native part would be offline reading, offline composition, etc.

Did ckohler make the native app as well?

Isn't that a stickied thread? The one about NeoGAF user reviews? If so you can go into settings and turn off sticky threads.

If that's not the problem then I have no idea.

I don't think it's the font because the italicized text shows up in the regular neogaf site, just not in the mobile web app.

No, my stickies are turned off, it's the 'What dd services have you used lately' thread, it's been stuck at the top of my gaming forum for days now.

Love the app and it seems to work perfectly on almost all smartphones I've tried it on.

One suggestion, dunno how possible it would be, is to make it look less like a native iPhone app and more universally appealing since more and more non-iOS users are using it. A re-skin if you will of the iOS like UI touches so it doesn't look out of place on non-iOS devices. Or maybe implement different skin options so we can match our devices' native look better or go for a different look entirely a-la dino-gaf :lol

...Just a suggestion of course, dunno how much resources and time there is to make it happen though, or if it's even remotely possible.

It would need a custom CSS for every mobile OS out there and that's asking a lot since they all have their own UI design.

I just want options to either sort reverse (Independent from the global option) or switch to a 10 per page view (Also independent). I have a non-smart phone that views the site pretty well, but even though it's Opera Mini, it lacks a few features. One, scrolling is SLOW AS SHIT and having 100 posts per page takes forever to get to the bottom of the page (Unlike the iOS Safari that will actually go faster if you rapidly flick the page ludicrously.) because Two, the shitty app doesn't have ANCHORS or an END key function. So there is literally no way to jump to the bottom at all. So if I could either sort reverse date or better yet, switch to a 10 per page option that only worked for the browser on the phone as opposed to being global to my user account, it would make navigating on my Rumor Touch much more tolerable.

I don't know how feasible it would be though. Still, letting me switch to less per page only on the one device would be nice. 10 would be a lot easier to scroll through.

Though it wouldn't be needed if Opera Mini 5.1 had support for fucking ANCHORS. One of the oldest features of web browsers.

To the creator of this webapp -- I just added the NeoGAF bookmark on my Android screen, and the favicon is a full-size button! Very nice touch.

How did you do this? What's the pixel size? I want to recommend this idea to other websites!

I noticed a problem starting today with the "Search" button. It doesn't work. When I press it Safari just dies. It stays open but no links will work. Click a thread and nothing happen, click one of my Safari bookmarks and nothing happens.

Seems to be a pretty serious bug or something wrong with my phone. I have to close and re-open Safari for it to work again.

Just started this morning. Didn't make any changes to my phone or anything recently. Every other site works fine. It's just that search button that messes Safari up.

Edit: Fixed it. Weird issue with a jailbreak YouTube plugin I downloaded from Cydia. Turned it off in Mobile Substrate Addons and te Neogaf Search works fine.
