I made a change but I doubt it fixed it. Try reloading and see.
If you have an iPad, tap the top status bar to instascroll to the top.Is there any way that a Go To Top/Bottom of Page button could be placed in each post heading (or maybe once every 5 or 10 posts)? It's a bit of a pain to swipe over and over and over on a tablet when you start off in the middle of 100 posts.
This makes me think, if only hovering buttons would work, there could be a tiny up/down arrow button where ever you are, eliminating the need to tap on the header bar to jump to bottom. Is there any way that a Go To Top/Bottom of Page button could be placed in each post heading (or maybe once every 5 or 10 posts)? When you make a post, should the app take you to that post? On iPad it's just returning me to the top of the last page
Not much I can do about this. Sorry. It'd be complicated to change that behavior.
Can we reintegrate 'Go to top/bottom of the page' buttons? Sorry if this has been asked repeatedly.
Really small tweak, but I think it helps alleviate some of the confusion about the intention of that ribboned/arrowed area at the top. I've increased the padding on the right side of the logo to match the width on the left.

Quick question: how can I subscribe to a thread in the app?
Sorry if it is obvious but I can't find it.
ckohler is working on making that functional as we speak.
Mockup Update:
Added:
- Added Active user info to homepage
Remaining:
- Subscribe to thread
- View thread top posters
- Dark theme
Guys, I'd like some feedback on the last three items left. First, where do you think I should put the links to Subscribe and view top posters? Should they just be links at the bottom of the thread view, beneath the pagination buttons? Suggestions are welcome but please keep it simple.
The active users info looks a bit screwy in Safari on iPhone:
[*]Subscribe to thread
That's strange, it looks good on my iPhone. The active users info looks a bit screwy in Safari on iPhone:

In regards to the Subscribe/Posters links, perhaps but them in under the Go to Page button or on either side of the "Page X of X" text at the bottom as individual buttons?
Is it just me, or was that fast! Very nice job, loving these changes. Although I liked the multi-quote button position previously, I guess this will look better for all those using 90% or lower text options.Mockup Update:
Clear your cache/refresh. You''re using the old CSS file. This goes for everyone testing.
So for a way to incorporate subscriptions, I would suggest something like this:
![]()
Not only would you be eliminating a need for an extra set of buttons, but at the same time it would no longer require an extra tap to get to the last/first/goto page options.
As for the top thread posters, I think that could replace the "first page" button as "view posters" and only be accessible on the first page of a thread, rather than every page (that seems a bit redundant imo).
[edit] Or, if possible, have tapping on the current 'Go to Page' button graphic automatically display an input box in its place, with the focus on the text box already (without having to tap on it again).
Just tap on the middle of the blue bars on the top and bottoms of the page.
[*]Adjusted multi-quote button position to conserve space
Mockup Update:
Added:
- Composing/replying to Private Messages
- "Thread" button when viewing single post
- Can now delete subscriptions and/or change their type
- Added Active user info to homepage
- Added ability to view all current members
- Can send PMs from member profile
Fixes:
- Fixed text scaling of some elements
- Previously hidden photos now open in new tab when tapped
- Moved PM folder selection to top
- Adjusted multi-quote button position to conserve space
- Reduced padding on some elements
- Better looking white buttons
- Improved color of message body/tag links
- Widened Logo button slightly
Remaining:
- Subscribe to thread
- View thread top posters
- Dark theme

Second, for the Dark theme. I want to keep the blue headers and satin menus the same but I would like some suggestions on the color scheme of the rest. In particular, what should the lists views, thread views and member profile screens look like? Again, please leave the headers and menus untouched. At most you should only be changing the colors of the bodies of the pages. If you do this, it will save me time trying to come up with the right colors.
Thanks.
Thanks for the suggestion Sentry but I can't say I'm a fan. The pagination controls need to be consistant throughout the app. I want them to be the same regardless of what you are viewing (thread/forum/private messages). The same goes for the compose button. It's in the same place everywhere. Currently, the pagination controls work everywhere. It's one simple function and are universal. So for a way to incorporate subscriptions, I would suggest something like this:

Other options would be to have a grey bar below the pagination buttons (but above the ad space) that has "Subscribe" and "Top Posters" as links in it similar to the current web app or to have a second button beside the compose button in the footer that does both subscribe and view top posters.
Also, I'd really appreciate it if one of you guys would mockup a Dark theme like I requested (just leave the header, footer and linen areas untouched; those should remain the same). This would save me a lot of trial and error trying to make it look the way you want because honestly, I'm not really sure what you're wanting. Something about it being black to save battery but white on black can look pretty janky, imo.
You mean the quotes? What about them?Any news/progress/decision on the reply button?
You mean the quotes? What about them?
Until people start saying they can't figure out how to reply, I'm not convinced there's a problem with where it's at. It's not like it's hard to find or hard to reach. Not the quotes, the position of the reply button at the very bottom right corner of a thread.
Is it just me or is the view threads by and send pm text blurry?
![]()
It's the shadowed text that makes it appear blurry, looks fine on my 4S though but that might just be cause of the pixel density.
