i almost agree. i liked Predator 2 better and see "Aliens" as the first nail in the coffin of the "Alien"-franchise.

Predators was average. It wasn't awful, I'll give it that.

I felt sort of the same. It wasn't a 'bad' film, it just felt redundant. Predators tried to emulate the original movie in so many ways it just drew attention to how inferior it was. Given a choice between re-watching Predators for a 2nd time, or the original Predator for the 100th time, I'd go with the latter.

I think the original Predator was one of those movies that was just perfect. It's the main reason why the sequels have struggled.

It's true, the movie borrowed a lot from the original. And that definitely doesn't magically turn it into a good movie.

Predator 2 shits on Predators easily.

Predator 2 even if is not on teh same level still felt like a Predator movie, still had "that" atmosphere and was still a kinda scary in some parts movie, Predators aint got a single scary or super tense scene in it.
