But honestly, I'm jazzed about this. He seemed to be cut due to the whole Spirit Tracks stage thing, and he's easily my favorite character to use. Quick on his feet, loaded with weaponry - today's a good fucking day.

I mean unless I missed something Adult Link is still in his TP's self, with young link being in his WW/PH self...
so yeah we saw 2 levels from the latest Zelda (SS & ST) but the links are from the Zelda before that (TP & PH/WW)

I understand the synergy with Wind Waker Wii U, but if Toon Link makes it in, but other originals get cut I'll be pretty upset.

Literally my least favorite Smash character ever.

The current link is the SS link. His design really isn't very different from TP link at all anyway.

I'm surprised by the update actually. I didn't expect that he would reveal so soon. I guess they might decided to not having any unlockable characters due to two games on two different consoles.
