Doing god's work.
I just think the Hive stuff didn't end up working out very well. The first half of season 3 was still great but the Hive stuff just didn't land well.

Hive wasn't used properly, and too much focus on romantic relationships and way too hard of a push for Daisy. People complained about her Mary Sue-ness in S2 (didn't have an issue with it, but I can see where others did), and in S3 she goes and becomes the chosen one (I did have a problem with this). It just kind of lost its way. Still had some great episodes, like "The Team".

Really is one of the best damn shows on television. If you stopped watching, just stop reading and go play catch up. You are in for a genuine treat.

Really hope it sticks around for at least one or two more seasons.

Posters are fantastic, too. Thanks for sharing, OP!

if Lash is actually cool looking, I think people will be more forgiving about it. I like the story progression in season 3 just fine, but remember when Lash is first shown people make fun of it.

I feel like Lash looked as good as he could have possibly looked in live action, honestly. A few tweaks here and there but I thought it worked overall

It was just a strange character in general to bring into the show.

None of this is canon tho.

I lost interest when it became clear that Marvel itself doesn't actually see any of this as legit.

SHIELD Season 4 has been firing on all cylinders so far, so bring on Hydra World!

It's canon. It being referenced in other MCU films is another topic entirely, but that doesn't make it any less canon as it doesn't contradict anything going on in the movies.

Quit during the start of Season 2 should I give it another try or jump into Season 3 or 4? Keep hearing good stuff about Agents.

Can you enlighten me as to the functional difference between the two?

And he was killed off and remains dead in the MCU.
Think of it like a tie-in book to the movie's event books. They're still in the same continuity, but in a different corner. There'd probably be more referenced from the movie to the TV side of the MCU if it wasn't for the Studios-Entertainment split (which was necessary so Feige could cut loose from Perlmutter, but that's another can of worms). There are times where the two cross in more subtle ways, such as the news videos meant to tie into Ant-Man that referenced the events of Agents of SHIELD (something about the Watch Dogs).

As for Coulson, he's keeping the fact that he's alive on the down-low from the Avengers. It's why they made Jeffery Mace into the Director when SHIELD went public, again.

No, Agents of SHIELD takes place in the MCU. Nick Fury, Maria Hill, and Lady Sif have been on the show. Same actors and everything.
