Not a fan at all of VR plots with made up stakes.
Matrix works because the VR world is the "main" one.
I just think the Hive stuff didn't end up working out very well. The first half of season 3 was still great but the Hive stuff just didn't land well.

The stakes are the same here as they are in The Matrix. Disconnecting improperly results in death.

if Lash is actually cool looking, I think people will be more forgiving about it. I like the story progression in season 3 just fine, but remember when Lash is first shown people make fun of it.

i stopped watchingi guess it's time to check it out againwhen Ward died in the other dimension.
None of this is canon tho.
I lost interest when it became clear that Marvel itself doesn't actually see any of this as legit.

Who cares how canon the show is? the show is arguably best when it isn't tying into the MCUNone of this is canon tho.

It's canon. It being referenced in other MCU films is another topic entirely, but that doesn't make it any less canon as it doesn't contradict anything going on in the movies.None of this is canon tho.

Phil Coulson was in The Avengers.
Quit during the start of Season 2 should I give it another try or jump into Season 3 or 4? Keep hearing good stuff about Agents.
Think of it like a tie-in book to the movie's event books. They're still in the same continuity, but in a different corner. There'd probably be more referenced from the movie to the TV side of the MCU if it wasn't for the Studios-Entertainment split (which was necessary so Feige could cut loose from Perlmutter, but that's another can of worms). There are times where the two cross in more subtle ways, such as the news videos meant to tie into Ant-Man that referenced the events of Agents of SHIELD (something about the Watch Dogs). Can you enlighten me as to the functional difference between the two?
And he was killed off and remains dead in the MCU.

This, too. Lady Sif showed up twice. No, Agents of SHIELD takes place in the MCU. Nick Fury, Maria Hill, and Lady Sif have been on the show. Same actors and everything.
