Just found this guy's weibo and the full story (equivalent of twitter in China).

Rough translation:

Github test file was from an AMD intern in Shanghai who were careless forgetting setting the repo to private.
He contacted the intern via the phone number shown in the resume (in Chinese) in the repo, and verified his experience at AMD Shanghai.
Now knowing the leak is from AMD, he baited the mole by claiming the leak is fake.
Rumors were quickly spread through various discord channels.
Fake insiders like Klee on Resetera were exposed, as well as Resetera's mods.
The leak is now redeemed.

BTW: this guy claimed the story and all characters in this writing are entirely fictional. I guess this is for some self-protection purposes.
