I saw some chatter years ago about the AC7 pre-order bonuses being that way because of some licensing restrictions (for the jets) not allowing separate releases that could be charged for.

Love that the series is still alive - but AC7 was easily the weakest entry post AC4.
And 8 is giving me some super bad vibes with that - for the "younger crowd" including pink hair - squadron.

At least the F14A has a chance of being released later for those that don't pre-order, unlike Ace Combat Zero: The Belkan War.

Or I pay $30 extra for the deluxe edition which primarily features a multiplayer battle pass with a 30 level boost... For $30... With no extra missions like 7...
