I've had a pretty good run the last couple of weeks or so, I've completed the following games:
F1 2010 - I absolutely love F1, I never miss a race weekend, so I was pretty pumped for this game when it came out. There are some bugs and the suspension is kind of messed up - if you touch certain kerbs you always seem to spin... Overall though, it is a good game. I enjoyed it, except for the grind to level 50, which was way too much.
Age of Empires: Online - In a nutshell, it's Age of Empires 2 coated in 'cartoony' graphics with MMO features on top. It's an excellent game. It missed the mark with its initial pricing scheme, but now it has come into its own since going F2P. Earning empire points (what you use to buy things) isn't hard, there are plenty of quests and variation between civilizations, co-op is always fun too. I spent over 300 hours on the game; I regret nothing! lol. Only thing that pissed me off with it was the luck based achievements (you need to find 4 buildings, which have a miniscule chance to drop). No skill involved in achievements like that, it's just opening chests and praying.
Blacklight: Tango Down (PC) - This one has been hanging over my head for a while. Bought it when it was 200MSP IIRC, soon realised absolutely no one played it and that I was in for one hell of a boring grind. Had to do the same 10-15 minute mission 90 times in order to finish it up. I ended up listening to some podcasts, music etc so it wasn't the worst thing ever. Still, glad to have it out of the way.
Dark Souls (PC) - Amazing experience, one of my favourite games of this generation.
Fable 2 - Geez this game is terrible. I got the 1000 back around its release, I only just now got around to the DLC. My hard drive died a while back and unfortunately took this save with it, so I was forced to go through the entire game again. I'm not sure what I was thinking when I bought this in 2008, it's so bad. Why does my character feel like a semi-trailer moving on ice? The combat is so simplistic and dull, the lack of any real consequence for dying is stupid, but I'm kind of glad for it. It saved me the hassle of reloading.
Next up is F1 2011, Battle vs Chess and Red Faction. I only really have the multiplayer to finish in each of them. Then it's time for XCOM! I'm looking forward to its release, it is going to be awesome.
