I actually got to go see them for free a while back. Saying they won me over is an understatement. They were ridiculously good and put on an awesome show.

I'd seen performances on TV and shit here and there before and they were pretty underwhelming to put it lightly. They'd skip the high notes in songs and shit like that.

Their singer has quit drugs and lost a ton of weight (he got pretty huge for a while), and the "new" bass player and guitarist are also great singers so they can actually do something live that sounds remotely like their CDs.

Awesome full band version of Simple Man from their live acoustic CD.

A recent one that I love is Lady Gaga's piano (and xylophone) version of Do What You Want on Alan Carr's show, she sounded amazing

I can't stand hearing her on the radio, but there is no fucking doubt that she is amazingly talented. That shit is crazy.
