Sweet. Game is fixed, lots of new blobs etc. Loving these around the clock iterations.

To have a blob for "nazi" is a bit too much though, imo.

Btw guys, note that there isn't just a single room for each region. You choose the region but get assigned to a random room.

There's a bit of a design challenge there - how would you handle splitting on a touch interface?

Hmm, maybe multitouch with a "Split" button to hold down while tapping the target location would work.

Wonder how long it'll be before we see the first clones. "Chompy Cell", etc

Good choice giving some level of customisation of the blobs without giving everyone the power of having penis pictures as the blob. I can do without that.

Yeah, I get that. I was just wondering if it was a risk vs reward thing where it grew your mass at the expense of splitting.
 
It seems you can't grow past certain point and if you do grow you start to shrink shortly. I noticed when i was playing last night and I stayed number 1 for almost 3 hours cause I always ate the person in second place, but I screwed up trying to eat someone in second place and he/she ate me cause they grew past the default max size. If anyone played with someone named "Black★star" last night, it was me :3
 
Added the other names as well, thanks guys. It makes me wonder how long he will keep adding new skins and whether he is posting the new ones somewhere.
 
Got to the top before my game crashed :(

Me and the two other largest cell clusters got trapped in a corner and I got dc'd when my cells were about to consume them.
 
I can see this getting as big as gameofbombs (formerly bombermine).

Hopefully the dev adds private rooms with customizable map sizes to the game.
 
seeing a brand new game with all the balls scattering around to get bigger to start eating each other is much more fun than staying large honestly

If i get big and get split up i try to sacrifice the little ones as quickly as possible because when you split thats the ones you tend to control instead of the big ones

Well, you still control all your stuff. But the small ones are the fastest. So if you position them right, you can move your biggest cell extremely quickly. This way, you can swallow every opponent cell that is low mid size and larger.

Pick your battles. Unless you are 1st or 2nd, keep yourself in distance of the spikey things. That way you can avoid getting absorbed by the largest cell. If you are split, learn to move over the spikey things without making them detonate (works fine, just pay attention to your "timer" so that your cells don't just suddenly merge). Don't split into four unless you are totally safe.

When you are the largest cell, split into four, let three parts merge into the same cell, so that you have 3/4 and 1/4. With the small cell detonate the spikey thing. That's the ideal situation. My screenshot doesn't count since I was above 10k and fooling around anyway.
 
In my next adventure:

There was one very aggressive player dominating and I wanted him gone. Of course I was trying to get bigger, but whenever I found myself in trouble and likely to be completely eaten, I would split as many times as I could, make a fast escape, and give every last piece to the person in second place.

After sacrificing enough to 'Reddit' he overtook the person in first place and we forged an unspoken alliance. If I needed protection I would return to him and he would not eat me, but it would scare anyone else away. His size would rise and fall but he remained in first place. If I ever felt he was threatened I would again sacrifice myself to increase his size.

His rein was long and glorious and until the server had a heart attack and it was game over.

Man, you have to be pretty aggressive to get super big. A guy named norank got me in the end. Good thing too, cause I've been at it for about 3 hours. phew
 
The eject mass ability is broken.

You can knowingly impale yourself, eject an amount of mass and have it collect in one of your injections to be absorbed again. Makes the whole spike thing moot.
 
Apparently there's some new thing where you can get a little speed boost by ejecting a small amount of mass rather than completely splitting. I'm pretty sure I hate it, but I'm going to give it some time before I solidify on the opinion.

edit: beaten just barely. Yeah, ejecting mass is BS I'm pretty sure.
 
Can I switch it from score back to mass?

You can also add "facepunch" to the list of special names.

And finally, es, this eject is stupid.

Completely nullifies the risk of using divide to get a smaller, faster opponent.

Lose a fraction of the mass for a bigger boost with little to no risk...
 
I really like the whole split thing, it allows you to trap easier and some surprise maneuvering around spikes.

But eject mass is too fast to be played in such a small arena and benefits the higher mass people exclusively.
