Here's another perspective my son played gow 2018 and sequel. There's no way he can play those if sex nudity is there till he becomes an adult.

Even with that aside the violence/gore in the earlier games is on another level compared to 2018 GOW. Those games could vie with Mortal Kombat for most graphic death scenes. They might have had 18 age rating.
