Oasis - Definitely Maybe

Oasis - (What's the Story) Morning Glory?

Ten - Gotta hand it to Pearl Jam for making such a great work. This and Jagged were my two faves in my teens.

.

Even the UK version with a few extra songs. Dirty Frank is great.

Other picks;

from Imogen heap both Speak for Yourself and Ellipse.

From the fast paced hard hitting intro track of "Feel Good Hit.." right up to the droning hazy creeping last track "I Think I've Lost My Headache". An album I can always listen to and just have the time fly by I enjoy it that much.

Good pick, a way better album than Songs for the Deaf though much much less hyped.

GZA - Liquid Swords

David Bowie - Low

A lot of other albums that I think fit this description have already been posted (Blackstar, Illmatic, Enter the 36 Chambers) but Low is probably my favorite Bowie album. I love the instrumental songs. And Liquid Swords might be my favorite rap album. It also does not have a bad song on it.

I only listen to albums, so I have a ton.

Bat For Lashes - Fur and Gold
Dead Can Dance - Into the Labyrinth
Fiona Apple - When the Pawn...
Foetus - Nail
Garbage - Version 2.0
Gogol Bordello - Super Taranta!, Trans-Continental Hustle
Gwen Stefani - L.A.M.B.
Jewel - Spirit
Kylie Minogue - Fever, Aphrodite
Marilyn Manson - Portrait of an American Family, Mechanical Animals
Monster Magnet - Powertrip, Monolithic Baby!
Nine Inch Nails - Pretty Hate Machine
Plastiscines - About Love
Shuggie Otis - Inspiration Information
Switchblade Symphony - Bread and Jam for Frances, The Thee Calamities
The Pretty Reckless - Going to Hell
Vanessa Carlton - Liberman
Wumpscut - Embryodead

Boston - Boston
Weezer - Blue Album
Pink Floyd - Animals
Meat Loaf - Bat Out of Hell
Metallica - Kill Em All
Metallica - ...And Justice for All
Pink Floyd - Wish You Were Here

I would have 808s but Robocop and See You in my Nightmares are meh. I would have Master of Puppets but I'm not a big Thing That Should Not Be fan. Also Ride the Lightning but not an Escape fan.

Gza - liquid swords

Good shout!

D'Angelo - Black Messiah (best album of the last ten years or longer for me.)

Prince - Dirty Mind, Around the World in a Day, Purple Rain

Led Zeppelin - 4, Presence

Loads of jazz ones - A Love Supreme, Bitches Brew are two obvious ones

Bowie - Lodger, Station to Station

Iggy Power - Post Pop Depression

Arctic Monkeys - Humbug (another masterpiece imo, gets better with each passing year)

Rolling Stones - Sticky Fingers

Radiohead - Kid A

Loads of hip hop albums come close but there always seem to be one or two tracks that I don't click with.

Nick Drake - Pink Moon

Fever Ray - Fever Ray

Kate Bush - Hounds of Love

These so far are really good, though there might be one or two songs that I don't like as much as the others but the album as a whole is really good.

Anything by Autechre, Tim Hecker, and Johann Johannsson
At least Tim Hecker, that guy does some awesome ambient-like soundscapes - haven't listened to the others though.

My picks:
melanie-de-biasio-433kwszj.jpg

Melanie De Biasio - No Deal
The coolest Cool Jazz I know, a short album but it oozes atmosphere.

61ggkltmonl._sx355_3zsch.jpg

Genesis - Nursery Crime
It's not my favorite Genesis album, but there is no song I think is weak there.

51eorr69dmlnos3i.jpg

Boris - Feedbacker
The best mixture of Drone and Noise that is. These japanese are crazy and awesome. Kinda like the album cover.

bo1o5snv.jpg

Boredoms - Vision Creation Newsun
Also japanese, a wild mix of Psychedelic Rock and Krautrock. It's essentially a 60 minute song.

These are the ones currently in my mind, I surely have some more. Some good recommendations so far here!
